From My Teenage Mind - Tessa Leroux
Into The Mirror
I am looking into
My mirror
I am inspecting
My face
Brown hair, blue eyes,
Small lips, olive skin
I can see all the
Pain
And all the
Joy
I have felt
Today
I am remembering
All I have learnt,
Forgetting all I have known
I am sighing in
Relief
The emotional ride
Of the day is
Finally
Over,
Sighing, while
I am looking into
My mirror
Which is you, your mirror is me
We are looking at
Ourselves
We are

A moment of glory
A moment of fun
A lifetime of commitment
As I moved from the dark dungeon of betrayal
Into the blindingly bright light of the sun
I wondered what it was like
To be born
Now
I wish I was dead
Because
The look in his eyes said it all
A moment of glory
A moment of fun
A lifetime of commitment
As I stole into my domain
Into its warm, welcoming embrace
I wondered if I could hide
The guilt in my
