    I am diagnosed with chronic depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive personality disorder (OCPD), and an anxiety disorder causing frequent panic attacks. Compared to many other people, I do not have extremely serious conditions. However, like many chronic illnesses, they are disruptive and changed the way I live my life. As I came crashing down, I was shocked at how instantly my new challenges adversely affected my productivity and relationships!

    During tumultuous years, I had to learn how to discover fulfillment again. I also came to realize that some of my conditions developed much earlier than I thought. Everything seems to come to a complete standstill when one comes crashing down. Picking up the pieces is a challenge. It was not easy for me, but after several periods of therapy at psychiatric care centers and many consultations to this day, I believe I have found a great aid to confidently start a journey to feel happy and fulfilled again.

    At the start of my last of several admissions to psychiatric care centers in less than two years, I felt so depressingly distraught that I couldn’t think of anything to say to anyone. I told my therapist to start talking, not believing we would get anywhere. The only material we had to work with was a list I’d scribbled of feelings and emotions which I felt were like arrows painfully piercing through me, constantly. I felt confused, scared, sad, disappointed, inadequate, weak, failing, lonely, regretful, secluded, and fearful. I found myself in a state of unprecedented introspection, feeling as if I was standing at a precipice and about to fall to a point of no return at any moment.

    I had reached what I believed was the last crossroads in my life, and I saw only three options ahead of me - flee, fold, or fight. It felt so ironically enticing to try and flee from my current troubles or to fold under the power of a mental and emotional pressure cooker. Yet instinctively I knew that what I had to do, was to fight; I had to fight for survival. The question I was desperate to get an answer to was, how?

    Only when I started using the simple tool and principles described in this book did I gain traction in just a few days. I experienced satisfying growth within a few weeks. Several times since then, when I experienced periods that felt like the pits, reflection on the contents of this book helped me time and again to rise above my negative feelings and feel some relief.

    My experience of personal growth in a span of only a few months due to embracing certain aids, compels me to share. Upon developing this remarkably powerful tool that worked so well for me, I set out to find reasons why it works so well. Contrary to my initial thoughts, I discovered through thorough investigation that it was not by chance that my newly formulated aid works this well. Every aspect of the research proved that the principles of this approach are substantiated, and what I discovered immediately inspired me to write this book.
