Our Great Savior

He arose to save us from the pit

All praise and honor to His name

He will come again, some glorious day

Will we be washed from sinful shame?

Christ guards His flock against all foes

We dwell safely in His loving care

Living in peace, amid worldly chaos

Remembering, He is always there

Growth in Christ, I pray for each day

Justified, sanctified, faithful, and safe

Speaking, living the Word that brings hope

Washed by Christ’s blood, reborn by His grace

Hear the Chariot Wheels

Can we sense that He is coming?

In great victory, rest assured

Heavens split open wide

Wrath and judgment will be sure

Evil slain with His vengeful sword

All mankind will meet their reward

Look upward, in anticipation

Heavenly kingdom of God’s creation

Strain to hear the hoofbeats

Welcome the trumpets’ blast

Eyes cast upward to catch the sight

The King has come at last

And my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Great Physician

How we long to see our Lord, face-to-face

To gain a home in His heavenly place

Humbly we come to the foot of the cross

To be made pure, bereft of sin’s dross

For the Spirit’s power to turn from the world

And the lies and enticements that it has hurled

Grant us dear God, by the grace of Your Son

That we grow into His body, becoming as one

Heal this world, come soon our Lord
