    Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love, mercy and grace. I give you all honor, glory and praise for your sovereignty.

    Lillie, my sister and friend, thank you for your dedication in the editing of this manuscript, and for writing Living the Abundant Life.

    Words can not express all I want to say;

    But, I ask God to shield, guide, and protect

    you along your walk throughout each day,

    with his grace and mercy —

    comforting your heart, mind, and soul

    with true hope, peace, joy,

    and all of his blessings of love.

    Hebrews 13:25

    Grace be with you all. Amen.

    Author’s Note

    Pathways of Life’s Journey is based upon my Christian faith and teaching, wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the Holy Bible. I also write from personal experiences, shared experiences and observations of life. Writing allows me to express my thoughts and feelings freely.

    My writings are accompanied by scriptures from the King James Bible. II Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: II Peter 1:21 — For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

    II Timothy 2:15-16

    Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman

    that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word

    of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings:

    for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

    Genesis 2:7

    And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils

    the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

    The Precious Gift of Life

    God is Creator of the Heaven and Earth

    Romans 6:23

    For the wages of sin is death; but, the gift of God

    is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    I Corinthians 7:7

    But every man has his proper gift of God, one after this manner and another after that.

    Ephesians 2:10

    We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus

    unto good works, which God has before

    ordained that we should walk in them.

    Man, God’s Creation

    You are beautiful — You are unique

    with God’s perfect plan in mind —

    He has all good things in store for you;

    You are special, for there is no one

    else who is just like you.

    Look within your inner self

    and see your beauty —

    you are the temple of the Lord;

    So, love and take care of yourself.

    Value that person God has made you to be

    and enhance the best that is within you;

    Keep a positive spirit of self-worth

    and let joy into your heart.

    With the spirit of dedication, patience, courage,

    and a willingness to listen and be instructed —

    you will reach your goal with success

    as you persevere with faith and hope.

    God made you beautiful —

    He made you special;

    You are unique.

    Psalm 100:3

    Know ye not that the Lord he is God: it is he

    that hath made us and not we ourselves…

    Psalm 95:6

    O come, let us worship and bow down: let

    us kneel before the Lord our maker.

    Psalm 119:105

    The word is a lamp unto my feet

    and a light unto my path.
