The Sower of Seed Ministry - Calvin Taylor

The righteous shall prosper for the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Psalm 1:1–6)

The Commandments from God to Man

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

Remember the Sabbath, day to keep holy.

    (Exodus 20:3, 4, 7, 8)

The Commandments from God to Man to Do to Man

    Honor thy father and mother

    Thou shalt not kill.

    Thou shalt not commit adultery.

    Thou shalt not steel.

Thou not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Thou shalt not covet. (Exodus 20:12–17)

It Repented the Lord that He Had Made Man

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. BUT NOAH FOUND GRACE IN THE EYES OF THE LORD… The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and behold, it was corrupt for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, the end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. (Genesis 6:5–8, 11–14)

    The New World

In the new world, men have greatly multiplied on the earth and the wickedness and evil of man is great in the earth today. And the earth is corrupt today, with war and violence and earthquakes and famines and pestilences and storms from the sea. And storms on land and nations against nations and kingdom against kingdom. And we have many false prophets.

But as the day that Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the floods they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark and knew not until the flood came. (Matthew 24:37–39)

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these:

Adultery is sexual unfaithfulness of a married person.

Fornication is consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other.

Uncleanness is morally or spiritually impure, dirty, soiled.

    Lasciviousness is lustfulness.

Idolatry, a worship of a physical object as a god.

Witchcraft, one who practices or a witch who does sorcery.

    Hatred is intense hostility, hateful.

    Variance, contrary, disagreement, discords.

    Emulation, imitate or imitator.

    Wrath, violent anger, rage.

    Strife, conflict, fight, struggle, discord.

    Seditions, discontent, resistance.

Heresies, opinion or doctrine contrary to church.

    Envying, resentful of another.

Murders, the crime of unlawfully killing a person.

    Drunkenness, intoxication, unsteady.

    Reveling, wild party or celebration.

And such like: of these which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19–21)

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceits, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. (Mark 7:21–23)

Walking in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of your flesh.

This I say then. Walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh: And these are contrary so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulation, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, reveling and such like: As I have also told you in the time past. That they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering gentleness, goodness faith, meekness, temperance, against such thee is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust.
