About this ebook

In my spirit it seemed that a lot of Romans chapter 8 is misunderstood because writers of yesterday were reading it with natural understanding and teachings, therefore leave out the greatness of our God and that His word is much more powerful than modern day teaching can understand and we can see the truths recorded there should be interpreted b

    Romans Chapter 8

    INTRODUCTION

    By Dr Jack Hetzel

When we look at what God is like, we see Him as so magically great that he cannot be reached by us personally because we are little nothings on this earth, when He sees us collectively as one big lover.

God had one need and that was a lover, someone on His parallel that could love back to Him so He set out to create everything we would ever need thought history so as man being in fellowship with Him, He gives them ideas as to manufacture things we need from what was already here. So when we see something new come on the market it has been here all the time but we did not know how to put it together. So at my age, I have seen many improvements beginning with the horse, the wagons then the buggy and on to great aircraft and rockets that we can send to mars.

God sees us as nothing missing, nothing broken and needing to be fixed, but through fellowship with Him, we learn from word pictures more and more how we ought to see our self so He had this eighth chapter of Romans to tell us what we should be like so others will love Him more. God says:

    Proverbs 23:7 (AMP)

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. As one who reckons, he says to you, eat and drink, yet his heart is not with you [but is grudging the cost].

So today, living by grace (God’s favored ones His exceptionally chosen lover). And it is my aim by the help of the Holy Spirit to paint pictures of how much God really loves us.

Right from the start let me say that there is absolutely no way that any person could write and explain this eighth chapter of Romans in one chapter as perhaps no one could ever cover it properly.

This chapter takes us from what we used to be to living a fruitful life while still here on this earth to victories, our position with the Lord this subject itself is unexplainable. From this life of victory after victory, through which we must go through many unexplainable difficulties which are brought about by mankind’s sin beginning with Adam having committed treason to this present time.

This writer has a goal of proving scripture with scripture. Even though some theologians do not read the bible to see what God says about Himself and you, but read it in light of what they have been taught.

To many who have lived as long as I have though that the world is growing worse and worse, which seems to be true because of a continuing growing of population. We hear of lies, theft, fraud, and murders and many more ill thing that is happening. However there happenings going on that God provides help us help to overcome perhaps a most outstanding statement made by King David: The Lord is my Sheppard I shall not want (or lack).

This chapter takes into eternity without pointing to the bad we have done to the benefits we have by inviting Jesus Christ into our life and allowing Him to baptize us in or with the Holy Ghost as promised in the following scripture. This promise is not automatic, but by making ourselves available to Jesus be baptized into the Holy Spirit. I indeed baptize you in water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire: whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing-floor; and he will gather his wheat into the garner, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire. Matthew 3:11-12 (ASV)

There are so many subjects covered in this eighth chapter of Romans that the mind just cannot cover as one would like.

    PRAYER:

Father I thank you that in these writings we can catch a greater glimpse of what you have prepared for us on this earth and on into eternity with you. When we have accepted your Son, our Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior carried us through many trials and cares bring us forth in total victory. Amen!

    Chapter 1

    NO CONDEMNATION

Dr. Jack Hetzel and wife Lilian, being inaugurated as

King and Queen in Fiaso, Tichiman Ghana 1989

For all that are in Christ Jesus, there is now no condemnation your sentence has been rescinded or totally pardoned. this is through the accomplishments of our Lord Jesus Christ who lived, suffered in this world in every way mankind has ever suffered, including the trial before a Roman judge and found not guilty, however the religious leaders cried out, crucify him! Crucify him! Crucify him! so he was beaten at the Roman whipping post, nailed to a cross, hands and feet, hanged there in the heat of the day for hours, gave his spirit up to God, died, was buried, the third day he arose from the death and now sits at God’s right hand to make your request and mine to God.

That is why Paul under the leadership of the Holy Spirit writes:

All this was for every person who would ever live, however until we ask Him to become our Lord and Savior we are all subject to hell through the sin of our forefathers beginning at Adam and Eve. Through this, He made it possible for you or I to be totally forgiven. That is why there is no condemnation to us who have taken our position in Him.

    Romans 8:1 (KJV)

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Definition of condemnation: (katakrino); an adversesentence (the verdict) :- condemnation. Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.

To make it simple, you’re case had been tried by Satan and sentenced to death or eternal separation from God, but Jesus bore your sins and even your problems in His body in your place. His trial, sentence and conviction had been determined by Satan. But Jesus took your sentence to hell and came out victorious over it on your behalf and mine. Praise Him! Praise Him!

    ISAIAH PROCIFIED OF CHRIST’S ACTIONS:

    Isaiah 50:6-9 (KJV)

I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
