    Introduction

The apostle Peter proclaimed, We have a more sure word of prophecy (2 Pet. 1:19).

The Bible’s ability to see into the future and record history in advance proves its supernatural foundation.

Peter goes on to say, Ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts. Having a good knowledge of the prophetic word is paramount to the spiritual health of the believer in the trying times we live in. The prophetic word reveals to us the coming future events of this planet and teaches to us the significance of the present events and our place in the future. It also generates comfort in our spirits with the knowledge of what God has in store for our lives in the days ahead.

I have studied, preached, and taught the prophetic scriptures since 1974. I have witnessed the hope that the Holy Spirit delivers to those who have received the word of God brought to us by the Old Testament and New Testament prophets, Holy men of God that spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (2 Pet. 1:21).

This work is an effort to aid you in your study of the prophetic scriptures. I have surveyed the entire Bible and isolated the prophetic scriptures contained in it. Under eighteen titles, I have recorded what the ancient Hebrews and the early Christian fathers prophesied about the time in which we live and the coming events. I have added no commentary to this work but offer up to you, the reader, the pure word of prophecy. The heavy lifting of searching the scriptures for what the Bible proclaims about the end of days are provided here for you.

Not only will this work aid you in your studies, but also if you read this work as you would any other book, you will have a knowledge of exactly what the ancient Hebrews and early Christian fathers set down as God’s plan for the future of the human race.

My hope is that the Great Teacher, the Holy Spirit, guides you into all truth and quickens your spirit knowing that…the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Rev. 19:10).
