Chapter 1

Life~

L-I-F-E are the letters that make up the title of this piece you are reading. Each letter is actually an individual character on their own. The alphabets are the basis of every word or thing that could exist in life. Most of us have heard the phrase the best things in life are free or will hear it at some point on our life’s journey. Do me a favor: as you read my material, remember the best things in life really are free. I have taken on the challenge of exemplifying just that in my book. When reading my piece, if you can benefit from enjoying the free things in life, my purpose was fulfilled. Please join me as we take a journey that is sure to empower your life goals if applied now and forever more to your life. After all, reading is fun but also fundamental to the soul.

We all love to have fun at some point in our life, fundamental is carrying a lot of weight in substance. The meaning of fundamental states,

Basic; elementary; fundamental Laws of Nature.

Of central importance; essential.

Involving all aspects; radical: fundamental change. (The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, 2001)

Now if that’s not a mouthful, then I don’t know what is. Branching off into another field for a second is a must right now for me. It still is aligned up to show the weight fundamental carries unknowingly to the world. Inside of that word I see fun, fund, and mental all shooting off sparks to start a fire on their own. That right there is another topic for a later day.

Which window one chooses to look through defines the substance you will see. Life is filled with plenty of free great opportunities for everyone that exist on earth. That’s right; stick a fork in me because I spilled the beans on that one. I could be done if I wanted to, but believe it or not, I’m just getting charged up. My batteries have infinite energy. Like Duracell brand, I can go on and on for the duration of this beautifully crafted masterpiece I’m working on currently. Humor is definitely part of having fun.

Life can be viewed as good humor if one can remember lessons come in unrecognizable packages. The Lion King said it best: In the circle of life, a circle indeed it is. Oh, honey, let me tell you, if I could count the times how many undesirable gifts became appreciated subliminal messages, needless to say, it would take me a while. Kid you not, my life’s journey has thus far discovered some supernatural messages that have been vital to my well-being. Laughter does good, just like a medicine. This is one of my favorite songs (BeBe Winans 2018) to hear when I want to vibe to a calm melody. Welcoming, amazing face expressions are being portrayed in this video. Joy-filled faces are all up in through that footage.

People tell me I am always smiling. My reply is, Thank you with a bigger smile. In a different manner, I’m always thinking, You should be saying, I love your smile, in my head after a naysayer response. Hey now, got to shoot a star in the sky for the great (I Love Your Smile, Shanice, 1991), beautiful, talented sister indeed. My hat goes off to her; she was smiling with a million dollars in the ’90s. Saw her in the media recently, and her youthful, joyous, priceless smile still shines. Pretty sure that talented, handsome, humorous husband, Mr. Flex Alexander, attributed to that gleaming look she currently wears in life.

Seriously, though, I am amazed at their life story shared with the world (Flex & Shanice), all while smiling. This author right here is a true fan of the dynamic couple. Sister girl, I’m sure that song was mentally replayed in my mind on December 30, 1992. That was the day my eldest child came out smiling from the womb. If I may, brother, this same child and I laughed from the inner gut when watching One on One over and over again. Mr. Flex, I was laughing with uncontrollable tears way back when stand-up comedy ruled. Years later, in 2014, I ran upon the Flex and Shanice Reality Show. I was all in, grabbed my popcorn and snacks—the rest should not be televised.

Hope my readers are giggling with me because I still am on track. You guys are flying high on the wings the way Black love should flow in life. So glad to see they were able to love each other and maintain a peace of mind while living free from the world tube (media). My assumption from their life story would fit the bill for an unrecognizable package. The down-to-earth couple viewed their mishaps as lessoned learned with good ole humor. Living in life with a smile doesn’t cost a thing. Mercy is a living witness that the payoff smiling gives is an endless residual flow. This is one of those free things in life I mentioned earlier on in my writing.

Supernatural is something that is attributed to divine power. Better choice of words would be existence outside of the natural world in life. Reading is vital on our life’s journey. Really, reading is a basic subject learned from the start of school. Actually, let’s take it back a notch. Parents are the first introduction to the basic-but-so-necessary skill of reading. For example, Say Mama, Daddy are things that we as parents teach are babies. No, the baby cannot literally read, but a form of reading—body language—takes place during this stage in life. What the child does is uses their eyes to copy the motion of the lips to create a sound. Naturally, what comes next is to imitate the body movement from the lips to make the exact sound. Life lessons are becoming second nature in the child’s life at this point.

Reading is of great importance to each individual that exist on earth. Even if you didn’t learn to read in school, the art would be of great importance to be your best teacher. In 2020, with technology climbing at an unprecedented speed, access is easily at our fingertips.

Personally, I still use my dictionary as a reference to further my knowledge on a word that I encounter. Self-help books are not only free at the library, but the Internet on one’s phone can be of value if the source is credible today. Old school can still be as valuable as new-school Siri.

Just in case you haven’t come across Siri on your TV screen, let me introduce you to the New Age reference our millennials lean to for knowledge. Whether it’s good or not, to each his own in life. One thing for sure: she is speedily accessible, which is what the world looks for in 2000s. All in all, Siri is the voice behind the widely used Apple personal assistant on iPhones and iPads. She is the dictionary, encyclopedia, Wikipedia, and maps, etc. rolled up in one.

My skeptical opinion about using Siri as a second resource is because of the validity of it all. Someone can mispronounce the word, and you’ll be looking like a fool because you didn’t fact-check your source, although my reading for myself may take a little more time. Essentially because I can stand behind my source, I’ve came out on top. One of those free things I got on my path in life came to the forefront of my mind. I just started laughing, enjoying that vital subliminal message all to myself. Humor me, please. My supernatural ability within to exist outside of the world’s way of using Siri daily is phenomenal. Hope everyone gets to experience this at one time or another in life.

To exist is the purpose of life. Who would have known how important this four-letter word would be on our path. Life is so priceless. Timing is of essence in the manner of life. Everything one does in life is defined by time. The Creator of this world thought it not strange to separate the light from dark. That’s how we have day and night in our daily regiment in life.

There is a time and purpose for all things that exist on earth. After it is all said and done, there is an expiration date on everything. Just as sure as one exists in life, the possibility of an exit is bound to come. When you have laughed your last laugh, a story will remain on the face of the earth pertaining to you. I know right now some of my readers are plagued with the question why. Hmm. Why is the author talking about death if the book is titled Life? I’m glad you asked that question. If I could answer that question for you, my response would be life is sort of like being in reverse. Each move you make is vital to your life story. When a person comes into physical existence on earth, an exit is already predestined.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Naysayers are flowing with opinions now that I’ve made that statement. Let me clear the air by simply stating just as sure as one is born in life, the world as we know it will come to an end in due season. Got one even better: if there is a beginning, then there has to be an ending.

What will you leave as an inscription on your plaque if you sleep indefinitely at the end of your journey in this life. I know we look back now and say, My grandmother/mother, etc. told me to enjoy life before it’s too late. That statement seems so far from us at the time. What about You better enjoy life while you can? Definitely seemed practical back then.

I can only speak for myself by saying, Those snappy phrases had some depth to them. After all, life typically was always meant for one to be fruitful and multiply. That’s what the Book of Life says verbatim (Genesis 1:28 KJV). Even if one doesn’t acknowledge the higher power in their life, original purpose still manifests in time, which is to give life on earth as it has already been given unto you.

Oh my gosh! That is definitely packing a lot of heat when you think about it. Literally giving life to anyone and everything that is positive in your path is life changing, to say the least. A wise author once stated, Turning Life’s Trials into Triumphs!(Susan Johnson Cook, Becoming a Woman of Destiny, 2010). Couldn’t say it better myself.

Simplicity is what we all dream of in life. If one could remember those five true, valued, and tested words that were quoted by Ms. Cook, life would be in a simpler form of being. Easy yoke and light burden (Matthew 11:28–30 KJV) is the way I plan to live my life daily, which just happens to be the way life was meant to be from the beginning of time.

In the beginning, the Creator spoke and it was created on earth (Genesis 1:1–3 KJV); how simpler can it get than that. Yes, that is if one believes in a higher power than oneself. On the other hand, natural occurrences still fit this bill one hundred percent. Let me spell it out for you. A thought is just simply a vision in the mind of a person. Not until the words from one mouth speaks the vision literally out loud can action take place. Simplicity is the ultimate dream most people want to bring into existence while enjoying life.

Now down the line a little farther in this book, I will reveal how this is actually done in reality. For now, I want to keep making a clear path to life’s journey for anyone who may pick up this book at some point in life. By clarifying life was always meant to be enjoyed every day one exists on earth, from the beginning of time, this was affirmed (Genesis 1:28–31, Exodus 23:25 and Deuteronomy 30:19–20 KJV).

Every individual is in charge of their daily life’s outcome—period! I oftentimes found myself telling my twelve-year-old son, How you choose to behave in the morning determines the rest of your day, while he’s getting dressed for school. By doing so, I hope that my son would be appreciative for life and take control of his day from jump. Easier said than done for him and most adults as well.

Now I can only tell you from my own experiences about taking control of your daily life. We are all faced with choices daily. Most of these choices are free at will; others are predestined outcomes from previous decision one has made in life. I choose to faithfully believe all things are working for my good on my life’s journey (Romans 8:28 KJV). Be it unto me as I believe by faith in the higher power, universe, and myself. Mercy definitely is a force to be reckoned with, and so are you.

Freedom is what I am claiming at this point in my life. Remembering that the best things in life are free has led me to this awesome way of being. Never paying for anything that I have received freely from the Creator is rewarding, to say the least. Love doesn’t cost a thing because it flows from the great rivers all the way to the deep blue sea. Great opportunities await you and me in every facet of life. Everything one needs in life already preexists on earth. Mental visualization of the things you desire has to come into play before super manifestation can occur on your path. Fuel your mind with free things on earth. Knowledge is free to all humans that exist in life. Seek to obtain positive fuel for your mind. Readings of all kind exist and is easily accessible to all. Public libraries are needed to make information available to all at the rate of F-R-E-E. That speaks volume of how important the skill to read really is, a choice an adult must make later in life if they didn’t get it the first time around.

Basic essentials in life has to be picked up along the way in order for success to happen in one’s life. If you are reading this book, my funds are in a good flow. I am having fun while I write this book for your reading pleasure. My mental capacity is at ease because of my residual income that’s flowing like a river. As stated before in my writing, reading is F-U-N-D-A-M-E-N-T-A-L for all that hone the gift.

I’ve come to realize that life really is what you make of it. Lame as it may be, every person that exists in this world came here the exact same way, not on a high horse, boat, or rocket ship but born of flesh through a woman’s body, it’s the only way we as human beings could ever taste life on the planet earth. So forget what you thought you knew about aliens, UFOs, etc. A person can only be born through an actual woman’s body into planet earth. Even the fertility clinics have to use a process where the woman’s body has to be present at the time of artificial insemination.

Just in case you’ve never heard of that. Timing is essential in everything we do in life. Even the process of artificial insemination won’t have a great possibility of working if the woman’s body is not in ovulation stage.

Timing is so key to every element under the sun on life path. Life is meant to be like a morphed caterpillar turning into a beautiful butterfly along one’s journey on this earth. Simply be the creator of a beautiful masterpiece called My Life for others to witness personally or read about later in time. Situations and circumstances are going to come just as sure as one exists in time.

I love the way people have positively taken control of their personal situation for whatever reason, not being able to give natural birth, and went with another alternative to create life. These people have looked at their situation at hand and chosen to pull themselves up out the dungeon. If something does not work one way, there’s more than likely another option. Anything you believe is possible in life be it unto your faith. Life can be altered legally for everyone to experience giving existence to another human being. You can research for other alternatives later, but I’d like to continue with my subject of artificial insemination, as previously discussed.

Artificial insemination occurs by taking eggs injected with sperm and prematurely giving life to those eggs in the body canal. If one hasn’t researched this situation of having fertility problems of any kind, all the other options still have one thing in common. That common dominator is a woman. The Creator of all things that exist made sure life could not be obtain no other way than through a loving woman’s body. Absolutely without a doubt, there is no other way for life to exist. Male and female were the natural essence of creation from the beginning of time (Genesis 1:27 KJV). Thanks be to the Almighty Creator for life as we know today.

The unforeseen situations one will encounter on the journey in life can be viewed as positive or negative ones. Personally, I choose to see every situation and circumstance as an addition to my life. Positive is the way I try to view things daily. My optimistic father—rest his soul—told me to remember, What don’t break one only makes them stronger. I do believe that affirmation.

So in life, whatever comes my way, it only makes me stronger. Basically, subtracting negativity out of your life is a sure way to see the good in everything. The world around us would be meaningless without bodies walking around with life in the cavities of our bones. When the Creator made man, He said, It was very good. So I too think life is good (Genesis 1:31 KJV).

The walking dead among us have lifeless encounters in the world. Hollowness exists inside their bodies, mind, and soul. The movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) by Walter Wanger is a great depiction of existence we see before us at some point in life. Like the movie shows us, there is no outer proof of death, but their mind is idle, and the body follows. Zombieland (2009) starring Woody Harrelson is another good movie exemplifying the walking dead among us on earth. The mind is a terrible thing to waste. To be idle is to lack substance in a certain area. In this case, the person is lacking ability to possess power in the mind to be a success in life. What a person feeds their mind determines the power of the brain, which in return leads the whole entire body while journeying on life’s paths.

Someone who has lost all hope in their mind is a predecessor for death on the inside. We have at one time or another heard the phrase being used loosely by somebody: I’m dying inside. Regardless whether the person was joking or not, it’s still not a good statement to make ever. I am sad that people are not perceptive to the statement, Life is in the power of the tongue (The Book of Life, Proverbs 18:21 KJV) as one should be. The Book of Life gives us powerful words that can be spoken to refuel and refresh our inner being forevermore. You are what you say you are.

Of course we have heard that said plenty of times in life. Not only did my parents raise me to believe, but I tested the theory as an adult in life. True theory: What one says out of the mouth is going to happen just as sure as they believe. As I stated previously, the Creator spoke, and it was brought into existence. The tongue is used for more than just tasting good food literally. The universe is simply waiting to hear your voice transmit over the airwaves of life. So even if one has never picked up the Good Book of Life, natural essence is still revealed in time.

There are infinite readings and pieces easily accessible about talking to the universe for everyone to come across in life. Becoming one with the universe is a necessity to be successful in life. I am pretty sure someone reading this is asking, How do you become one with the universe? if you’ve never heard of that terminology. All righty then, layman’s term Go out and enjoy the Creator Good Nature on earth. Free outside sunlight, fresh air, beautiful green grass, and trees are a part of mother nature, not to mention the beautiful eye-catching array of colorful flying birds in the sky. All the while drifting off in the skyline with optimistic thoughts flowing through your mind. Watching the sunset with blue lagoon streams of white as a pure dove patterned amazing skyline above, which was amazingly created in the beginning of life.

In a different manner, what about the lovely greenish-blue seas that are filled with all kinds of interesting jumping fishes and sea things. Whether one looks up or down outside in the pure atmosphere of nature, the eyes will see beauty at its finest in life. Take a walk outside to be
