You are about to immerse yourself into an honest and heart-wrenching testimony of real regret and freedom. My mother has chosen to open up her entire heart to you by revisiting the most challenging times of her life so that heavy and broken hearts may be enlightened to the hope of Christ. She has laid out her biggest regrets and failures so that you may choose life in every way. I know from personal experience that the forgiveness and freedom she offers you to grasp is something that has overtaken her life completely. Redemption becomes tangible in this book, and I believe that what was stolen from us as a family will have to be returned hundredfold by the power of this testimony. Babies will live, faith will arise, regret and pain will be met by the precious Blood of Jesus, and freedom will sweep into hearts and homes.

Preface

Worthy of Love came about as I started to write my first book, Preparing Your Child for School God’s Way, or so I thought that was going to be my first book. As I started to write and prepare, it seemed that I kept going back to the testimony that led to it all. Therefore, here I find myself writing my first book, Worthy of Love. In this book, I will share with you a true testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness. It is a testimony of God’s Word applied in our lives.

I am a wife to Micheal Reyes, a strength and rock in my life, a mother to Amanda Marie, our beautiful daughter, and to our handsome son, Jordan Christian. I was born and raised and continue to live in Petersburg, Texas. I have taught for nine years and am currently a school counselor for a Pre-K through twelfth-grade campus.

I write this book to help increase your faith in the bigness of our God, to encourage you, and to testify of His goodness. There is no depth too far or too dark for His hand to reach out and redeem. No matter where you find yourself in life, our testimony has encouraged, brought tears to hearts, and displayed the beauty of God’s plan. Welcome to our lives!
