About this ebook

This book is a peek into the life of an Intercessory Prayer Warrior revealing the decisions and face-to-face encounters that it calls for in order to be victorious in as you move in the gift. In this book, led by the Holy Spirit, I reveal the power hidden in God's word as it declares its ultimate purpose, which is to bring the whole world to a victorious end in Jesus Christ. You will experience the ups and downs of an intercessor in decision-making as she interacts with the different circumstances that she is faced. You will walk away with the ammunition you need to determine if you are empowered to be an intercessor or not by your actions. You will walk away with the knowledge of how to determine if you are on God's side or the side of others or even moving in your emotions. Come and sit at the table with me as you read this book, I hope you leave nothing on the plate.

Have you ever been faced with depression in the lives of your loved ones?

For example, rain is falling in sheets outside yet the sun is shining in your heart as all of sudden you notice the silence coming to you from across the table from someone you have grown to know and love. You know you should look upon their countenance, but you cannot bring yourself to view the despair, loneliness, and unwarranted sadness there. Instead, you give yourself a few more moments of joy by postponing your glance of concern for a moment longer. Just for a moment longer you want to bask in the joy that comes from living for and with the Lord before facing the reality of depression that is controlling them. Just for once you want to pretend you do not have to minister to someone that chooses to wallow in self-made depression instead of receiving the joy of the Lord. You begin singing to yourself a song of encouragement. I still have joy; I still have joy. After all the things I have been through I still have joy. Then the spirit of compassion, which truly is a gift from God, raises up in you, and you are moved to witness to your loved one.

First, you look upon their face noticing signs of defeat and despair hidden by a false display of self-control and strength. Their shoulders propped up by false strength of pride, but slowly falling on one side. Their body full and heavily overweight from drinking in the fluids of self-pity, resulting in obesity of grief and despair instead of standing up and calling this depression off in the name of Jesus. Their body obese with depression from the forsaking of the assembling of themselves with other saints. Their bodies obese due to the powerful grip of self-fueled and reinforced depression hidden inside of their spirits due to a lack of hearing the testimonies of other saints that would enlighten them to this trick of Satan and how to fight it.

Finally, you ask, Are you feeling okay? They look at you with a face that should be filled with joy from living a victorious life in Christ, yet has no true expression, just a cringe of pain. I forget to take my pain medicine, they say. I am in pain, they say. They leave out the part where they cannot figure why they are suddenly gone from a vibrant young person to one so weighed down with life that they cannot go physically sometimes. They leave out the part that their feet have shod ungodly places, but not the house of the Lord in years. They leave out the part that their mind is full of the idleness of the world from the lack of assembling with fellow Christians in the Lord’s house. They leave out the fact that they have forgotten that the Lord can change any situation to their favor, due to lack of assembling together with other saints. They leave out the part that they lack the knowledge that they should have to fight all of this and more, because they have forsaken the assembling of themselves in the house of the Lord with other saints, so they do not know that this is a part of living the Christian life for the Lord. They cannot recognize this depression as an attack from Satan to keep them from receiving and fulfilling their role in working to bring souls to
