It’s not enough to thank God for waking up. We must get into the habit of being specific when communicating with God.

So, because I have gone through trials and tribulations of dealing with mental illness in my family, I’ve learned to wake up and give thanks to God for my life, health, strength, and the ability to arise clothed in my right mind.

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this book is to help people see the importance of God’s calling on their lives and for them to be able to go after their dreams, destiny, and purpose God has predestined for them.

I am a proud Christian who loves God. I have no problem letting the world know how glorious and precious God is in my life. My testimony is my life’s journey…my story. Within, you will see how God is working on you even before your life was created.

Most of all, this book also serves its purpose of showing believers—as well as those who are not walking with God—the miracles, grace, and mercy. On the pages of this book, I endeavor to make your faith stronger or to bring the unbeliever to salvation in Jesus Christ. When my time comes to stand before God, I want Him to say, Well done, servant; well done!

If I touch one soul by my testimony and it leads that one to become saved and a believer in Jesus Christ, I’ve done my job here on earth.

The words you will read here come from my heart and are directed by God through prayers and listening to His voice in my ears. Remember: Once we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and believe in the blood He shed for us here on earth, we have the surety we will be able to fulfill our destiny and purpose for God’s glory!

God blessed me with these three words that are all-powerful and have a strong meaning:

I am a Living Testimony

One thing I have learned about social media is that it can be a good tool to spread the Word of God, enabling those words to touch different walks of life. We also have to be aware of who we allow into our circle of family and friends while on social media because the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy God’s people. We must always stay prayed up and realize we are in spiritual warfare.

When I post some things that happened to me in my life—whether good or bad—I want people to see God’s grace and mercy operating in my life. I desire to be a living testimony for others to let them see how God brings us through, even in the midst of the storm. As well, I often call for prayer warriors to step up to get a prayer chain going so that the enemy cannot penetrate the covering of prayer over my life.

Everyone has something that they love. My love was being a Labor and Delivery Nurse. My PASSION, however, is to make mental illness the focal point of getting people support without being stereotyped or categorized as crazy.

Stop for just a moment and consider when parents learn they are expecting a baby. What do many typically ask for first? They ask God for a
