Where Is Jesus When I Am Hurting?
Author

Dr. Clarence V. Sanders

This book shows you how to tap into the mystery of our Christ-centered faith. God’s Holy Spirit is ready to show you, lead you, and reveal God’s truths and his will for your life. As you open your heart to him, listen for that still small voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to you and showing you the way. He teaches us to carry the word of God in our hearts and allows it to bring about the necessary change that God wants for your life. The Bible says in James 4:8, “Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.” When we make ourselves available to God, he is eager to pour out his wisdom and blessings. He says in his word, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” (Jer. 1:5, NRSV). God knows each of us and claims us in love. This book intent is to encourage us to clear a space for Christ in prayer each day.

In Response to the Question, Where is Jesus When I am Hurting?

    Dedication

I prayerfully and gratefully dedicate this work to my wife, Wanda, and my God. God has given me more than a companion in allowing me to share life with her. He has given me insight into the deepest meanings of being a family by blessing me with such a powerful soul mate. Wanda has taught me the humility that one feels when touched by the awesomeness of God’s grace. I thank God for my wife, who has shared with me and shown me what God had on his mind when he granted mankind the covenant of marriage. And to you, Wanda, and you, God, I say from the bottom of my heart: thank you.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Rom. 5:8).

May each of us be prepared for the coming of him whose coming draws nigh. I pray
