Dedication
I dedicate this book to all whose inspiration and love through the years has taught me to never give up. To my husband Richard; you have shown me immeasurable love and compassion. I thank you for your love for me. I can honestly say that your love was worth the wait.
To my children, Alexandria, Amber, and Alyssa; you three have taught me so much as a mother and a woman. We have endured much through the years, but no matter what we faced, God has always provided and kept us. For that I am grateful. If I have taught you anything, I pray it’s to always surrender to God and allow Him to lead you in everything you do.
To my mother, Thelma Smalls, I am blessed to have you. Your sacrifices and encouragement have helped shaped me into the woman
I am today. I appreciate you and love you more than you know.
To my siblings, though there were five of us, I especially thank God for my sisters Lendra, LeAndria. Your unwavering support and constant laughter has helped me through many trials. Not only are you my siblings, you are my friends.
To the best in-laws a girl could have. Mr. Richard Pop
and Ms. Florence Mom
, you two were mom and pop before I said I Do
to your son, and your love has never wavered. Thank you for loving me as your own.
To my pastors, Bishop Jerald, and First Lady Vickie Fordham; only God could have directed me to you. You are more than leaders, you are shepherds. Having been with you for almost three decades, I have seen your steadfast faithfulness and I pray I have been half as faithful to you as you have been to me.
To the entire Powerhouse of Deliverance Ministry family. We laugh, cry, pray, worship and rejoice together. We are more than church members, we are family. You all are forever near and dear to my heart.
And as I saved the best for last, but never least, to my Heavenly Father and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; for your spirit, your wisdom, and your continual guidance, I say Thank You Lord! With a grateful heart, I thank you for every spiritual gift and I yield to your will and your way. I welcome you to do even more in and through me.
To all I’ve mentioned, and to you, the readers, I dedicate this book. Let us all desire to work and walk together in kingdom-truth!

Introduction
There are three kingdom truths in the lives of every believer that we must come to realize. The first is that to live, you must be willing to die. Second, you must be prepared to relinquish your sight to see truly. The third is that to have access to all you need, you must be able to surrender your fruitless wants.
Though this concept seems far-fetched, it is the will of God concerning those that belong to Him. This truth may be hard for some and even ugly for others, but when you embrace this truth, you will find yourself breaking free from the shackles and chains that have buried your true potential and the freedom which can only be found in Jesus.
I remember when I gave my life to the Lord. It was nothing like I imagined. The earth did not shake; there was no audible voice from Heaven. All I knew was that I had believed in my heart and had confessed with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and according to the Bible, I was saved. At that moment, I believed that I belonged to God and that He had forgiven me of my sins. At that same moment, the only apparent change was how things appeared to me. It seemed the same, yet different. I was myself,
