WELL-DEFINED
A hardened shell does not suggest a hardened heart. Often times a hardened shell protects the tenderness of vital organs. Mankind is structured with bones to protect vital organs. What often appears hard and calloused is mere protection of a vital organ that God uses to disperse his love; the heart.
The cover of this book has been Well-Defined. When the Holy Spirit gave me instructions for the design of the cover it was unique, enlightening and humbling. I was to get a piece of cloth from the women of his choice, and then sew the cloths together to make the cover of this book. Obedience is better than sacrifice was all I could here in my thoughts. God really takes the foolish things to confound the wise. As I continued to pray, for further guidance, the Lord gave me the response of each woman to include the size of the cloth they would give me so that I would not be uncomfortable in asking. Who was I kidding, I thought the idea was bizarre; but I trusted God to reveal his plan along the way. What a powerful God we serve and how powerful we become when we trust him.
As I began to think about my relationship with each of them I realized that through these relationships I had become a Well-Defined Woman of God. These women had become a fundamental part of my life. It would take the experience of every season for God to develop my character.
Well-Defined is an expression of my appreciation to each of you. When you look at the cover of this book and you see your piece of cloth, I hope that you can see yourself in our relationship and how God has grown us. You will always be paramount to me. I could not have made this journey without our relationship. I gave God my heart and he in turn gave me great and majestic women that would support and love me through it all. I pray that the words written and inspired by the Holy Spirit will encourage you as you continue on your individual journeys. I
