About this ebook

It's time you ate a really good cookie! Here, you'll learn the to-dos and the not-to-dos. This book is designed to take your business to its destination now! No one wants to wait forever for their business to be successful, so let's get started!

Based on my personal experiences, I will show you what works and what doesn't. Where to put your energy and what it takes to really succeed in business.

This is a short, no-filler book, so I get right to the point!

As crazy as running a business can be, with its long hours, sometimes demanding clients, the up-and-down markets, and an assortment of other issues, I would not trade it for a stable nine to five. No way, no how!

Having been self-employed since 1981, I feel I have some golden nuggets (oh wait, I mean some cookies) to share with you!

I hope you enjoy this book and learn that success is yours, but you have to grab hold, work it, and take a big bite!

New licensees are like deer in the headlights, seeing successful agents with nice homes and driving expensive cars, thinking that they’ll make it big in the real estate game. Statistically, only about 5 percent of licensees survive beyond the first five years in this industry, and about the same percentage of licensees make a substantial enough income that allows them to be self-sufficient, financially speaking, being able to invest, save, pay for the kids’ college tuition, big house, nice car, etc.

Having made all the mistakes in starting my businesses, it is with great certainty that I can now instruct and encourage you how to build a successful business. A business that just doesn’t survive but thrives. A business that will generate enough income to comfortably send your child to college, save substantially for retirement, take great vacations, purchase that dream home, drive a pricey car, give to charities, and anything else that’s financially important to
