About this ebook

There are Four very, very important TRUTHS that have been kept from you! FIRST TRUTH YOU CAN UNDERSTAND The Mystery of God, The Godhead and The Trinity And those that keep it from you are without excuse. (Rom. 1:18, 19,20) It is very important to understand the numerous things that have been changed in God's Word. One of the extremely important things that has been changed is God's name. God's name, YHWH, was replaced with the word LORD. Exodus 3:15 states, "And God said . . . The LORD [YHWH] . . . This is my name forever, And this is my memorial unto all generations." "And Jesus [Yeshua] answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord [YHWH] our God is one Lord [YHWH]: And thou shalt love the Lord [YHWH] thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment" (Mark 12:29, 30). Our Saviour's name was changed too! To the Greek, Iesous, which became Jesus. But His Birth name was Yeshua. Yeshua = Yehoshua = YHWH-Salvation = YHWH "As for our redeemer, the LORD [YHWH] of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel" (Isa. 47:4). "JESUS [Yeshua] SAID . . . IF YE BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM [HE], YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS" (John 8:24). When Thomas called Jesus [Yeshua], My Lord and My God, Jesus [Yeshua] said to him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: Blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed. Please continue with me in God's Word in this compilation of scriptures, in this revealing study; and you will understand The Mystery of God, The Godhead, The Trinity and discover three other very, very important TRUTHS that have been kept from you! "Be Not Faithless But Believing," Jesus (John 20 - Cheryl Alvarado

    Chapter 1

Is It Important Who You Believe He [Jesus] Is?

Let’s begin examining scriptures for the answers.

Isaiah 43:3 says, For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom. (See Exodus 20:2.)

This scripture calls the LORD thy God the Holy one of Israel, and we know that the Holy one of Israel is Jesus. This scripture also calls the LORD thy God thy Saviour, and we know that Jesus is our Saviour. This scripture is saying that Jesus is the LORD, thy God, and gave Egypt for thy ransom. Remember when God rescued Moses and the Hebrews from Pharaoh. That was Jesus! (Read Ex. 12:51, 14:4, 18, 22–31)

In John 5:46, Jesus says, Moses wrote of Him!

John 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Isaiah 43:10, 11states, That ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am He: before me there was no God formed, neither shall be there after me (v. 10). I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no Saviour (v. 11).

Here again, the Word of God is saying the LORD God is Saviour and to believe and understand that I am He. This is our Saviour, Jesus, again saying He is the LORD God.

Jesus said in John 8:24, "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am (He), ye shall die in your sins. Jesus also said to Thomas, Thomas because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet believed."

Let’s look at this verse where Jesus said this and see what He was talking about.

    John 20:27, 28, 29:

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and BE NOT FAITHLESS BUT BELIEVING (v.27).

"And Thomas answered, and said unto him, MY LORD AND MY GOD" (v.28).

"Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: BLESSED ARE THEY THAT HAVE NOT SEEN, AND YET BELIEVED" (v.29).

Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet believed (John 20:29).

Believed What? That He, Jesus is Lord and God.

"For unto us A CHILD IS BORN, unto us A SON IS GIVEN: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: AND HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED Wonderful, Counselor,

THE MIGHTY GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" (Isa. 9:6).

". . . this is the true God and Eternal Life" (1 John 5:20).

"AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL,

WHICH BEING INTERPRETED IS GOD WITH US" (Matt. 1:23).

"And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness:

GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the spirit, seen of angels,

preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up to glory" (1 Tim. 3:16).

I came down from heaven (John 6:38).

I am the living bread which came down from heaven (John 6:51).

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day (John 8:56).

Jesus said in John 8:58, Verily, verily I say unto you before Abraham was I am.

"THUS SAITH THE LORD, THY REDEEMER, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL:

I AM THE LORD THY GOD" (Isa. 48: 17).

Here again, the Word of God in Isaiah 48:17 is telling us as in Isaiah 43:3 and John 20:28, 29

The holy one of Israel, Jesus, is the Lord, thy God.

I, even I, am the Lord: and beside me there is no saviour (Isa. 43:11).

I am the first and the last; and beside me there is no God (Isa. 44:6).

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending saith the Lord, which is,

and which was, and which is to come, THE ALMIGHTY" (Rev. 1:8).

"I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that is athirst

of the fountain of water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things:

and I will be his God and he shall be my son" (Rev. 21:6, 7).

"THE GREAT GOD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, WHO GAVE HIMSELF"

    (Titus 2:13).

"Reach hither thy finger and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand and thrust it,

in to my side and be not faithless but believing. Thomas answered and saith unto him,

My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou

hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed" (Joh 20:27, 28, 29).

Jesus is telling us in John 20:27–29, blessed are those that believe, He is Lord and God. And in John 8:24 He tells us, If ye believe not that I am [He], ye shall die in your sins.

So yes, it is very important who we believe He [Jesus] is.

The people of the city of Berea were called noble because they examined the scriptures daily to see if these things were so (Acts 17:10, 11). They checked the teaching of the apostle Paul to see if they agreed with the scriptures. Hebrew 10:7 tells that the volume of the book [the Bible] is written of him. Let’s search the scriptures and see who the volume of the book says He is and if what we have been taught agrees with the scriptures, even as the people of Berea checked Paul’s teachings.

In the following chapter, we will see that God exhorts us to search the scriptures, be not deceived, beware of false prophets, and not to neglect so great a salvation.

This book is mostly a listing of scriptures. I hope it will help you to heed God’s Word. God tells us in His Word He will give wisdom to those who ask for it (James 1:5). So please stop and take a moment right now and ask God for His wisdom and ask the Spirit of truth to come and guide you [according to John 16:13] and reveal to you who He [Jesus] is, not depending on this book to reveal truth [although it does reveal truth] but rather, depending on God, who cannot fail.

May God Bless You Richly in His Wisdom and Truth.

    Chapter 2

    God Warns and Exhorts Us

This chapter lists scriptures where God warns and exhorts us to search the scriptures, to study that we needeth not to be ashamed, and to beware of traditions of men—for many deceivers are entered into the world—to ask God for wisdom, and to CONTINUE IN THE WORD AND YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH. Let’s review the following scriptures:

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him (James 1:5).

"SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES; for in them ye think ye have eternal life; AND THEY ARE THEY WHICH TESTIFY OF ME" (John 5:39).

"STUDY to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Tim. 2:15).

"BEWARE lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after THE TRADITIONS OF MEN, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. FOR IN HIM DWELLETH ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY" (Col. 2:8, 9). [This is saying beware the traditions of men, specifically mentioning the Godhead.]

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist" (2 John 1:7).

"For there shall rise up false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; in so much that if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" (Matt. 24:24).

"And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them" (Luke 21:8).

"And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; BECAUSE THEY RECIEVED NOT THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH, THAT THEY MIGHT BE SAVED" (2 Thess. 2:10).

"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him" (Heb. 2:3).

Then Jesus said to those Jews that believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then ye are my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8: 31, 32).

God warns and exhorts us because He loves us and does not want us to be deceived. He warns us that there are many deceivers in the world and of those that perish because they didn’t love the truth, God’s Word. God’s Word is truth (see John 17:17). We must love the Word of God—truth—enough to study it, search through it, and continue in it; and if we have been deceived, it will set us free. We cannot afford to neglect so great a salvation. God’s Word tells us to beware the traditions of men [specifically mentioning the Godhead] and warns of false Christs, false prophets, and deceivers. If we neglect the Word of God, the truth, we won’t recognize when the traditions of men disagree with the Word of God. When a person is deceived, he doesn’t know he is deceived. Have you ever known anyone who was wrong but was totally convinced he was correct? That person was deceived. If a person is deceived, continuing in the truth, God’s Word, will set him or her free. I have searched the Word of God and listed examples for you. Now it’s your turn to study, search God’s Word, the scriptures; for they testify of Jesus.
