About this ebook

God inspired me to write about his unfailing love for women who are suffering through life's great trials and personal afflictions. Through my own experiences and those close to me, I share my personal and spiritual insight in hopes of shedding light, knowledge, and revelation of how difficult circumstances can produce seeds of greatness in the women of his kingdom, a support so desperately needed in today's world. My desire is as you read this book is that you will feel enlightened as to why you have faced a challenging circumstance or are currently dealing with one. In every hardship, every misfortune, every calamity, the Lord will amaze you with the miracles he has provided along the journey. Whether you have suffered or are someone that has helped others along the way, you have touched the lives of others and are part of God's great vision for a sisterhood of women who support and love each other in his will. Our true beauty as women in Christ is not only in our strength and endurance, but also in our ability to nurture and protect one another.

    Dedication

Firstly, I give thanks to God for giving me the divine revelation of how important his women are in the kingdom work of God. I must say if it were not for my daughter, Amber, this book would have never been finished. She inspired and pushed me when I wanted to give up due to my own failures and shortcomings. She became my own personal cheerleader, seeing qualities in me that bloomed through my writing. She was my editor and friend. I also would like to thank the women of today striving for the kingdom of God, working tirelessly for souls. Women from all forms of life, yet with one thing in common, their love for Jesus Christ.

    Introduction

Around 1989-1990, I went to a Ladies’ Retreat in California. During the worship part of the service, the Lord’s Holy Spirit fell upon me, opening my eyes to see what he saw in his women that he loved so dearly.

At this worship service, women from all over the world stood together in perfect harmony as they opened their hearts without reservation unto the Lord Jesus Christ, praising and thanking him with pure loving hearts.

Being in their midst, I was overcome with the Holy Spirit’s presence, and I was given a vision from God. In this vision, the women had transformed and become beautiful flowers covering a vast field, their worship became like flowers blossoming, and I saw them opening up with a sweet fragrance entering up into the heavens. There were flowers of all kinds and colors; the scent each flower emitted represented the flower each woman became in the vision. It was beautiful!

Being the precious handmaidens of a God who is omnipresent and whose sovereignty rules all things, I was awestruck by his divine care for his women.

In the services of the retreat, I witnessed miracles fall from the heavens like dew on the grass, landing on these women. The Holy Spirit took me on an incredible journey revealing the importance of these women in the kingdom of God, while simultaneously allowing me to see his love for each woman is as unique as the flower they represented in my vision.

Over time, he began to show me a flower and how it symbolized the life of many women. He explained how through the Holy Word, his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, are treasures from heaven falling upon the lives of the flowers through their faith in God. As you read about each flower, I pray you see yourself in many of the chapters. I hope it helps you understand God is in complete control of your life once you invite him in and allow him to transform you into the image of Christ. The results are the fruits and attributes of Christ manifested in real lives, expressing God’s glory. The Scripture in the Holy Word of God states that we are a chosen people, peculiar due to our love for God, the Great I AM. In the New Testament, the Son Jesus Christ, who is God in flesh, teaches us to become like him, and I pray this book unlocks mysteries for you, revealing an understanding of what God was and is doing, during some of the most troublesome times of your life.

Note the Holy Spirit put only ten flowers on my heart because they represented some very important facts and truths in God’s Kingdom. Also, there would be no end to this book if I were to try and cover thousands of flowers. God bless you, in our Lord Jesus Christ.

    The Cactus Flower

    Repentance

Repentance is when the heart of an individual recognizes its wrongdoing and not only regrets the evil, but makes changes to do what is right. In order for a person to repent, there must be a reckoning within oneself and God. Repentance flourished in the Cactus Flower, as the Holy Spirit drew this individual into his presence. The Cactus Flower is a flower born in the desert. Against all odds, this flower blossoms in the sandy, desolate atmosphere surrounded by a scorching merciless sky and accompanied by nothing but vultures, rattlesnakes, scorpions, lizards, and spiders. However, regardless of the elements, the Cactus Flower caught the eye of God.

One day, the Holy Spirit fell upon this plant, bringing forth such a beautiful flower, signifying new birth. This Cactus Flower became breathtaking. It was as if the dew of heaven itself descended, causing this Cactus Flower to recognize its sinful state, drawing her into God’s bosom. In the book of Joel, verse 2:28 promises that his spirit will fall upon all flesh. And it did fall upon the Cactus, wowing her into His loving merciful grace.

Like many souls in the world, the Cactus Flower began to question her existence and searched for answers in her life. Delving into the Word of God sparked hope for her, giving new meaning and understanding to her life. Communication with God can only begin with true repentance and studying his Holy Word. By experiencing repentance, the Cactus Flower was filled with a divine purpose.
