    Acknowledgments

First, I would like to thank my Lord Jesus Christ for granting me the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to create this impacting journal. To God be the glory.

I would like to thank my husband, Pastor Samora Palmer, for his consistent support, inputs, encouragements, prayers, and belief, letting me know I can do this every step of the way!

Thanks to my children for giving me the time to write this journal and for believing in me.

I would also like to thank my spiritual daughter, Minister Shannelle Thomas, for her continual support, stand, and all inputs along this journey. I truly appreciate and love you all immensely!

    God answers prayers and fasting.

And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. (Mark 9:29 KJV)

This is the confidence we have in approaching you God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hear us. (1 John 5:14 NIV)

Prayer is not seasonal; it's a lifestyle (1 Thessalonians 5:17)!

Prayer is time invested, not time wasted (1 Chronicles 16:11)!

Prayer gives you divine (God) directions! "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24 KJV).

    Week 1—Isaiah 55:6

    Drawing Close to God

KJV—Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.

MSG—Seek God while he's here to be found, pray to him while he's close at hand.

NIV—Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

    Note

The Bible encourages us to "seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33 KJV).

    Pray with me

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, I come to You now, asking You to grant me the desires of Your heart toward me as it is in Your kingdom concerning me. Let it be done in my life according to Your Word in Jesus's name, amen.

    Week 2—Psalm 17:6

    God Hears

KJV—I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

MSG—I call to you, God, because I'm sure of an answer. So—answer! bend your ear! listen sharp!

NIV—I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.

    Note

The Bible beseeches us by saying, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6 KJV).

    Pray with me

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, I believe in Your Word that You are God, and not a man that You should lie, that whatsoever You said, You will do, and now I take confidence in Your Word, Lord Jesus, that even now, whatsoever I ask and pray for, You will grant me the good desires of my heart in Jesus's name, amen.

Prayer for Healing Mentally, Physically, and Emotionally
