Holy Greetings Friend,

Prayer is how we communicate with God, and devotions enable us to meditate on His Word. PRAYERS & DEVOTIONS that Change Lives and Hearts will expand your prayer life, as well as empower you to receive more clarity while meditating on the Word of God.
As a Sunday School teacher for nearly 15 years, I have found that regardless of how long you have been walking with the Lord, or if you are new to the family of God, you will be strengthened, renewed, and able to find peace for your heart when you take your concerns to God in prayer.
This book will draw you closer to God while creating a more extraordinary prayer life and longing for Him. As you pray each prayer and read the devotions, there will be a desire to be still in His presence. God will speak to your heart as the prayers penetrate the atmosphere and the devotions speak life to your spirit. The readings will shut down the outside noise and distractions. And there, in His presence, you will find peace and rest for your soul.
I pray the Lord bless and keep you as you take this prayer journey and that you will see your life and the lives of those you pray for changed at Godspeed. And remember Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Brenda R. Cox

Brenda Rochelle Cox is a native of San Diego California, born and raised. More than 30 years ago she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. It would not be until March of 2000 at New Covenant Tabernacle, in National City, CA that Brenda became spiritually rooted and grounded in Christ and begin teaching Sunday school in 2002. In 2004 she moved to Little Rock AR, and married her husband, Pastor Kelvin Cox. In 2013, Brenda and her husband moved to moving to Dallas, Texas where they currently reside. She founded Women of God Positioned for Promise in 2014, where women are encouraged to activate the promises of God, by superimposing His promises over every situation in their lives. This same year, she graduated from Western Governors University with a B.A. in Health Information Management. Brenda also established Sisters in Prayer Ministry in 2017 to meet the prayer request of those who desire prayer for their children, as well as other prayer concern. She also began Monday Morning Manna, which is today, Daily Morning Manna, to uplift and encourage others as they go throughout their week. In 2018 Brenda and her husband answered the call of the Lord, and began New Believers Gospel Ministries in Dallas, Texas. They have been married for nearly 18 years and serving the Lord together ever since the day after they were married.

I dedicated this book to the Peace of God that passes

all understanding, which has kept me through the

trials and tribulations of my life. The toughest one

occurred when my mother, Brenda Crockett-Wood,

transitioned to her Heavenly home in 2018. His

Peace has kept me since then and is continuing to do
