Glimmer of hope - Janine Friedrich

This poetry book glimmer of hope contains poems

that I have written during the highs and lows of the year 2022. The only

exception is the last poem in this book, which I have written on New

    Year's Day in 2023.

As always, these words came from someplace deep inside my colorful

    heart.

I am not a fan of page numbers in a poetry book.

    They are not necessary.

    this

    book

    contains

    the

    following

    poems

    Table of Contents

you are my glimmer of hope when I need it the most

    conquered fear

aythhazeley — the eritrean way of saying forgive me

    you might not know

    I keep aiming high

    a soaring eagle

lost opportunities are never truly lost

hidden words jumping into the unknown

our lovemaking — nothing for the seasick

like a poetic drop of rain

    a secret muse

letting go is part of nature

    bleeding dark blue ink

in unison with the song inside

I'm moving on to a place where I belong

maybe it's the best if we fly over to mars

the future is, indeed, bright — so I guess, anxiety lied

every year, we overstep our future death date

I'm coming as designed, as pure divine
