Elements of My Soul

About this ebook
Life is an ocean of elements colliding with one another to create a new thing. Memory is no different. Poetry is no different. Mine is not the typical memoir. The poems that flow from my pen are my reflections and experiences as a boy of humble beginnings growing up in New York, Los Angeles, and my many

My first debt is to God. Goddess Durga has been my motivation since the beginning and Shivji is key inspiration to write through my spirituality and acknowledge I am a speck of dust
in this vast universe, and we are all just minutest species living on this planet. Let go of your EGO
in this lifetime and try to achieve moksha through your dharma and karma.
I thank you, God, for opening my eyes every morning and letting me see this beauty called life.
I want to thank my Mom and Dad for always inspiring and pushing me to achieve whatever my heart desires. My mom always tells me, Life awaits you in abundance, my son.
I lovingly thank my baby sister, Megha, for motivating me throughout and pushing me to go beyond my comfort zone.
I thank Vasant Vijay Maharaj, a renowned spiritual Guru from South India, who has helped me immensely understand life and the rituals of how to do something as simple as puja in a temple. This Holy man stayed in Himalayan mountains without any clothes for more than 10 years, has done intense meditation for 25 years in Varanasi, a holy city of India. He is a Siddha Guru from Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, India. His knowledge and wisdom about Goddess Durga is unimaginably beyond us humans. I am so thankful to him for teaching me the mantras and the process of enlightenment.
I’d also like to thank none other than World’s Biggest movie stars—Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and Mr. Salman Khan. Besides Superman, Salman motivated me to work out and feel better about myself. I wanted his hairstyle and his body. Seeing his energy and his stardom back in the 90’s enthralled me. Pushed me to work out, and I started going to the gym. I had the privilege of meeting him a few times. Admired him throughout. Mr. Amitabh is just an iconic father figure for all of us. He’s an actor beyond time. His perfection and timing are what got and kept my attention. He also reminds me of my own father—what women would consider tall, dark, and handsome.
Without the support of an exceptional lady, USA Today bestselling author, Naleighna Lissa
Kai, this book would not exist. Naleighna has always pushed me to start my own photo stock website Vikkaszone.com and embrace genres that I previously was not aware of. She has been encouraging me to publish my poems for years. Without her late-night efforts and working on this book on her lunch breaks, this would have never happened. She is not only my friend, but a great well-wisher who only wishes for my happiness. I am in debt, honored to have such a friend and a believer, I humbly thank her from my heart.
I also humbly thank #1 bestselling author, Stephanie M. Freeman, who did a developmental edit on this work. Her words are like pure gold, and the way she understands the written word is amazing. Thank you to D. J. Mitchell and Kelsie Maxwell for laying eyes on
