Healing You and Others - Ross G Meyers

    Introduction & Dedication

The purpose of this book is to encourage and inspire you with confidence in the knowledge and revelation of who you are and what you have been given by God.

The life flowing in this book resides in the heart of

Philippians 2: 3-4 that you are of more value than me

& hopefully I am of more value than you.

How wonderful it will be when that's the way we all see.

I am an everyday believer who wants to encourage you to walk in your full potential knowing your authority over sickness, disease and all the storms that get thrown at you. You are more than a conqueror with Jesus in You. Romans 8:37

In all these things we are more than conquerors.

    Like Paul As You Go

As You Go about your day we can remember Paul and how similar he was to you and me that believe. He too did not have Jesus walking physically beside him, he had the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said it in John 16:7 Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you.

Paul came from being the sinner of sinners. God gave him knowledge of the difference between who he was in his former life and who he had become in Christ.

It was not the disgrace or abhorrence of having been a sinner that he focused on, it was the revelation that it was the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, not of himself, but by the grace of God of who he was now. He was delivered from the law of sin and death in his humility.

The grace of God works in our lives as we surrender and rely fully in God by living a fully sacrificed life in love.

To acknowledge who and what we are is to remove ourselves and step fully into God for Him to be our all in all and that's where the miracles will flow more and more in the fullness of His Love.

This Love is the heart of God that changes lives, Paul was humble and strong in Jesus, he was given all the spiritual blessing like you and me.

    Jesus Humbled Himself to Death

    and was Exalted

    Prayer

Jesus, thank You for who You are and what You have

    done for us in You.

Bless you that read this book.

I pray that you receive the full outpouring of Love and

blessings that Christ has given you.

    Amen

Thanks to my friends in Jesus

Special thanks to Bob, Adelle & Rennelyn.

I dedicate this book to you, Jesus.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint.

    - Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

    Chapter 1

    YOU HAVE ENOUGH FAITH

"With God in charge, I believe everything will work out for the best in the end,

so what is there to worry about?"

    — Henry Ford

    Light Tree

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

    — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Every Man is Given the Measure of Faith (Romans 12:3)

I don’t have the faith for this or that is something I've heard myself and so many people say over the years. What an obstacle.

A measurer of faith has been given to each of us that believe and that means we've got what it takes, and that's His faith in us.

You will get what you say, even saying that you have enough faith to offer healing or to share the Gospel is going to make the difference.

In every recorded event Jesus healed them all, unbelievers and believers included. Consider how much faith a dead person needs to be raised or the lame man beside the pool who didn't know Jesus.

Wrong understandings can affect the healing of others and ourselves.

Did Jesus didn’t go around asking people if they had any unforgiveness, sins, generational curses or anything else before He healed them?

Faith is given as a measure to each one of us. It says in Romans 12:3 (NKJV) "For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."

That's such good news that we don't need to earn enough faith for Jesus to flow through us and heal our lives and others. Many opportunities for healing and salvations have been lost due to thinking we need more faith. In Galatians, Paul explains that it is not our own faith, it is God’s faith in you and when you know this, it is life-changing.

If you have doubt that God will heal someone then how can you expect them to be healed? Imagine walking up to someone and wondering if God will heal them, what doubt would be in your mind?

The good news is that once you start offering healing, you will eventually see it and that's a super encouragement that will spur you onto the next person.

When I mention healing, many people default to this meaning physical healing, but it’s so much more. Yes, it could start with physical healing, yet ultimately it will flow into being life healing.

Heidi Baker & Randy Clark are very well-known preachers & missionaries that walk in divine healing today yet when they started healings were not seen. Randy quotes it was something like 1,000 healing prayers before he saw an instant healing.

They persevered in the word of God and kept obedient to God and break thru came. Their ministries today are affecting the lives of 1,000s.

If anyone was sick and Jesus laid His hand on them could Jesus heal them?

This is the point that we need to be clear about, Jesus healed them all and He's here right now as I write or you read, As He is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17)

You have the spiritual healing power of Jesus flowing through you to release into the lives of others when you believe and action your given faith.

In Galatians 2:20 it says "Nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Throughout the bible and in all areas of your life as a believer you will see changes. Physical healings lead to healing in all areas of life and open doors of joy, hope, peace & love.

Each person has a spirit, body, mind and soul. Receiving the Spirit of Jesus opens healing into all the areas of your life as you activate your God-given faith. Your mind will open the door for the spirit to flow through your soul into all your life and virtue will pour out on others. I remember reading about Catherine Kuhlman, such a wonderful lady of God. It was told that she was so engaged in the Holy Spirit that some people were healed at the entry door of her services.

She had virtue flowing out from her, just like Peter's shadow passing and healing people that were wanting to receive. I find this amazing and I know it's possible for us too.

26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them,

With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

27 Then Peter answered and said to Him, "See, we have left all

and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?"

28 So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration,

when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory,

you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones,

judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses

or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands,

for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.

30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

    Matthew 19:26-28 (NKJV)

    Jesus Healed Them All

In Luke 4:40 it says, Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with diverse diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

If Jesus could not heal everyone that he prayed for that would mean that when you pray and lay hands on the sick you would be doubting if they would be healed, true?

Can you imagine Jesus walking up to heal someone and failing to get them healed? That's simply not possible. Jesus did not fail to heal anyone who came or anyone he prayed for.

When we believers lay hands on the sick they are will recover and that's a promise. God does not want to lose anyone, however, if we have doubt we have a double mind and the word says we should not expect anything from God.

    Misunderstood Scripture Holds Out Healing

Matthew 13:58 is often misunderstood, it says, And he did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Misunderstanding this scripture can bring a double mind about healing.

Jesus healed ALL that he prayed for.

This scripture in His hometown, Jesus was seen as a prophet
