Patricia grew up in a small town, the daughter of a Baptist minister. She is a longtime member of her church, where she is the choir pianist.
Patricia lives in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with her husband, Mark, and two children: Ned, 19, and Grace, 17. Patricia is a trained legal secretary but became a stay-at-home mom when Ned was born. In 2010, Patricia went to work with her husband, Mark, who has been practicing law for twenty-eight years.
Patricia and her family love to travel and have enjoyed many family trips together. The front cover photo was made by Mark just off the coast of Vancouver Island during a fishing trip in 2010 that was disrupted (delightfully so) by a pod of whales. Patricia loves to read, cook, and garden.
