Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes in a year. How do you measure the time you are experiencing in your life? Do you see the finiteness of time?

In the play Rent, there is a song called Seasons of Love. This wonderful song seeks not only to shock us but to challenge us to stop and notice the fleeting passage of time. What is the purpose of time in your life? What direction is time taking you? Can you make time stand still long enough to notice and live in the present moment?

Can you condense time to match your unique pace? The painful truth is our sped-up culture does not see the preciousness of time. Time seemingly moves silently and is so elusive we dismiss what is happening around us and within us. It seems we have a blindness to the exquisite beauty of our NOWNESS.

Our minds keep racing, fractured and confused, and distracted to the point where fatigue and defeat set in. The subject of time reaches beyond our ability to understand it as it passes us by.

Have we become like deer in headlights? When bewilderment and powerlessness enter our thinking, we enter a state where much of our ideal life and hopes and dreams leave us as mere spectators. Are we just onlookers and witnesses to our own life?

Surely, a deep sadness sets in as we view our life as a series
