Winter Chill - Tracilyn George
I AM NOT AFRAID
I am not afraid
For you are here
With your arms
So strong
So comforting
Holding me close.
I am not afraid
For you are here
With your eyes
So kind
So gentle
Easing my pain.
I am not afraid
For you are here
With your voice
So soft
So soothing
Comforting my soul.
I am not afraid
For you are here
With your touch
So light
Enticing
Setting me free.
I am not afraid
For you are here
With your smile
So bright
So sweet
I am content.
I am not afraid
For you are here
Doing what
You do best
Loving me
Unconditionally
And by loving me
I am not afraid.
LOVELUST
Time
Forever changing
Yet always the same
Like our love
It’s constantly there
No matter how difficult
Is each bridge
We cross.
Life is here
For us to savor
As well as to
Cherish.
Let us lose ourselves
In each other’s arms.
Let the warmth
Of our bodies
Abolish the chill
Of the night.
Caress my lips
And I yours
For my being
Belongs to you.
I shall do as you wish
For I am your love slave
And you are mine.
We shall never
Depart from each other
If I am to be perfect.
I must feel you
Breathing
Upon my neck.
Your body
Sleeping next to mine
Forever
My love
And always
Time.
FOR MY GIRL
I love you more
Than words can say
So
