Introduction
After graduating high school, I suddenly felt that it was time for me to make a change. I began to feel bored, and although I was just starting college and was employed, I found myself experiencing a sense of mental stagnation. As a result, I decided to read books on leadership, spirituality, self-improvement, and other related topics. With the help of these books, I began to feel differently about myself. I felt I had a reason to change my own narrative.
While I always understood the importance of education, I was never a fan of school. I felt that many of the subjects wouldn’t apply to me in real life. I would have moments in class where I would sit and wonder how I could ever make practical use of the things I was being taught. How could the information I was being given really help me?
By deciding to look for books that interested me, I began to develop a greater awareness of the world. Reading provided me with new ways of thinking and expanded my mind in a multitude of ways. My decision to start reading as a hobby became the foundation for how I grow within my career and would come to understand life in general. By educating myself, I was able to appreciate more fully both the strengths I already had and my personal weaknesses.
This book will focus on the principles of success and the traits that many successful people have. Throughout this book,
