Suicide Helpline
Not feeling yourself?
988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. While some areas may be currently able to connect to the Lifeline by dialing 988, this dialing code will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States. We’re committed to improving crisis services and advancing suicide prevention by empowering individuals, advancing professional best practices, and building awareness.
Don’t give up. We’re in this together and there is always someone out there that wants to hear your story. It doesn’t have to be the end. You just got started little black boy.
Confusion at Birth
We come to realize that the mistakes our parents made in the beginning really have nothing to do with us. The choices that our parents make are solely their own choices regardless of the situation. I grew from my parents telling me that I could have been aborted or adopted. I use to think where I would be if they did abort me or if I was adopted. Of course, If I was aborted then it would be the end of my story at the beginning of my life span. If they however decided to give me up for adoption maybe some reach white or Asian family would have adopted me and maybe my current results would be better than where they stand.
The reality is that life is the way that it was supposed to be. The things that I overcame and made it through were tough but there is always someone else out there that is doing ten times worse than your current situation.
For example, I grew up without both of my parents in my life at the same time. I had to understand that there were some children my age, younger and that will be born without either of their parents in their life. I had to except the changes of my lifestyle and learn how to benefit from the situation rather than dwell upon it letting these obstacles affect me in the long run. What you have no control of is not worth changing. One thing that non of us has control over is time and its affects on human sociology.
If we were all meant to live perfect lives there would be no justification to fix the errors in peoples lives. One thing I had to start looking at was that I wasn’t a curse, I wasn’t a bad person and that I actually had a blueprint for being here. Yet things didn’t work out in my favor to suit my emotions but they did make me strong enough to talk about them and to impact someone else that may be wondering the same as I wonder some nights.
Why me?
Depression Symptoms
Depression is a human made disease that we bring to ourselves. We sit up and we think about the worse of people or situations causing our brain to think we are sick. Depression is a sickness that can be cured through happiness. Now the question is how does one make themselves happy all the time? Well that’s a tough answer because its impossible to be happy everyday, 24/7 because we are humans that naturally have intellect and emotions. A lot of times we cannot control our emotions and this is what can help stimulate depression in our brain.
What I like to do to keep my spirit uplifted is block out everything that doesn’t matter in the now. You will hear me say this repetitively that I do not entertain what I cannot control. I simply move on if I can’t control. God, The All, The divine puts our spirits through obstacles in life to help or serve others. We have to use these instruments and impose their heavenly notes onto others so that one day they too can play these lovely sounds.
