About this ebook
Hilary Zakria
A poet welcoming the world into his journal and allowing his art form to inspire. Seeing three different cultures and experiencing life in different countries speaking about what he felt in times his family have gone through hardship. Remaining discipline in sport and taking that to the books and continuing to write despite how people viewed him. Being a vessel for God to work through his art form and his rather unusual life choices as a young African living in Australia.

Dear Most High,
Note To Self
The Creative thought of Creation was the first of all Creations
.
I AM
I am that I am,
For whom I am,
I give glory,
To why I am,
Deserves praise,
I am that I am,
because I am,
Existed before time,
I am, created all that is
So in the beginning was Creativity
Therefore, I am Creative
None can stand before I am
Because
I am that,
I am
And I am
Love
CONFIDENT
(in)
My desire for confidence
crumbles arrogance,
For success is her offspring
she gives praise, for that
I am humbled
NEW CULTURE
The community thought it raised the boy
his ability to mask his views
allowed him to remain creative,
Have you ever met an introvert?
Who enjoys being in front of crowds,
reciting poetry,
although he struggles to keep,
Conversations not about poetry
Have you ever met an extrovert?
Who locks himself in his room?
Posting other people’s poetry,
But makes everyone he encounters
die of laughter, just by laughing
We created an extroverted introvert,
We are the culture
Our ancestors fought for this community
Our mothers yearned for,
Our fathers taught boys how to fight,
Not physically, but stay square
it may end that way
although the consequences
May lead to buck mentality
The community shamed the boy,
When he started winning poetry slams
Laughed at his confidence,
We are the culture
Our ancestors fought for
He is the characteristic of
Earth, wind, water, and fire
he wrestles with water
Weaving like the wind from
The freight forming fear
Amid fire
Erupts the ghetto evangelist
Evolving earth,
The community showed the boy,
nature
