Nadine Clipper Ejire born and raised in Washington, DC. After graduation from high school, she embarked upon her college experience at Xavier University in New Orleans, LA and continued until she graduated Cum Laude in Mass Communications from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Nadine furthered her education earning a Master’s degree in Education Technology. She worked several years in customer service jobs until she began her radio career as an on-air announcer and then she served as a News Director until 1997. Nadine then became a state government employee. She is currently serving in a management position within the Education arena. She looks forward to many new opportunities as a state employee and beyond. Nadine enjoys many hobbies that include writing poetry, reading many genres, and walking on nature trails. She is the proud mother of two young adult daughters. One of her favorite quotes to live by is “Be the change you want to see.” Ghandi. She became interested in writing poetry in 1996 after being inspired by many interesting and published poets. She finds poetry as a vehicle to express her innovative and provocative thoughts!!

The days will seem long and dreary,

Continue to remain focused on the goal,

Eliminating unwillingness as you get to know your soul!
