This book is a culmination of a cultural and spiritual evolution in my life, shaped, molded and coerced by some of the most interesting, talented and gifted souls ever found at one place.

Born at Sandile Dikeni’s House of Truth at Papas, came of age at the late Richard Ishmael’s Off the Wall sessions at Off-Moroka Café Africana. For those brave souls who shared in its upbringing in particular the late Richard, Jeff and Sandile (may their souls rest in peace), Primrose, Peter, Jade and everybody who was a participant at the Off-Moroka open mike sessions; this is your book. The years were 2001 until 2004, a good season.

And not forgetting those who believed and encouraged that those hastily scribbled thoughts and ideas are worthy their day in the light my lovely wife Julia and not forgetting my
