About this ebook
Life is a symphony of tears and laughter. It's a harmony of shouts of joy, quiet moments of pain, and whispers of hope and love.
The moments that make your heart skip a beat or those that make it beat like a drum. Even the times when you cry as it wrenches, squeezed tight. Each of those add flavor to compose your life's musical piece.

Life, Beats, & Pieces - Ms. Pinks
Life
The hum of the rays of the sun,
The tune that robins sing.
All around there’s rhythm,
Everywhere there’s a hymn.
Because life is made up of music
And music is life.
The Sun Is Up And So Must I
The sun is up and so must I
The morning blinks, and my rest ends
A cup of brew touched my lips
I look around me, offer praises, and think
––––––––
I got up, cleansed my cup
Laid back on the sofa as I do a few recaps
What is life about?
I thought, thinking deeply.
We breathe. We smile. We weep.
––––––––
If I’m a poet, then I must write
About things I like, the sorrows of life
People’s life stories, and the beauty around me.
I paused. Thanked God I have the gift of words.
A New Day
A new day to partake
Nourish the soul and flesh
––––––––
Noontime, heatwave at its peak
Skin parched, seem toasted in a brick
––––––––
Dawn creeps, sun exits
Daybreaks, the body goes to rest
––––––––
Good night, adieu to-day
Pray, God will extend your breath
Morning
Sunsets, morning awaits
Embrace tomorrow
For we don’t know what it offers.
––––––––
Hum a lullaby
Gazed the sky.
––––––––
Trail the day
Do not delay
Send positivity
Sweet day of rest
Welcome sweet day of rest
And Sunday I’m most at ease
The calmness I enjoy and celebrate
––––––––
The pews never show a retreat
It serves a hundredfold bended knee
As words of wisdom were highlighted
––––––––
An hour of quietness is asked
As for me, I surrendered
On the sweetest day, I praised
Tomorrow May Bid
Tomorrow may bid
‘Coz today may cease
––––––––
Earthly hope exit
Day or night can’t be felt
––––––––
Cloud of fire in the sky
Seem Nimbus can’t override
––––––––
Life and death had a tournament
Grim ripper is busy where to harvest
Aftermath
Sorrow must be buried today
Tomorrow can’t wait
Suppression of breath.
The emblem of death has taken a seat
––––––––
Why do crows appear when we mourn?
Doves may be pleasing if they’re to one to join
White and black suits ramp
Six feet under the last stop.
––––––––
Aftermath is uncertain
Wound in mind’s pondering
Where to begin—
The path is cloudy and dim.
Rainy days
Summer
