Reunion
––––––––
Tears of joy
Caress soft young cheeks
When friends meet again.
Magnificent landscapes
In the land of cowboys,
Where guitars and harmonics
Penetrate the night.
The trees, beyond centenarians,
Smell of burning wood
And possess the color of fire.
Trees of light,
Trees of peace,
That speak with silent words.
The red desert,
Color of the Indian skin,
Where horses seem to fly
And crows are dark angels in the blue.
The sand burns
As feet cut it jumping,
Excitement is such
That infinity can’t hold it.
Just a little bit more
––––––––
Oh me! Oh me! Oh me!
What have we done?
How did we end up in a world
Of fake colors?
They say this is good
,
They say buy it and you’ll be happy
,
They make you believe
That there is no other way to live.
But money only buys promises,
What you are is beyond reach.
Only you can know yourself!
How did we become robots?
Machine after machine after machine,
Just a little bit more
And the world is yours!
Just a little bit more
And you’ll reach it!
Reach what?
Just a little bit more,
Can’t you see?
It’s the game they make you play,
A never-ending game
That begins with
Just a little bit more.
But you’re not here to live,
You are lost inside a blind glass,
You are far from what you think you are.
You’re away from now,
You’re away from here,
Because you don’t drop your fear.
Let it go!
Softly.
Let it go!
As I whisper in your ear:
Just a little bit more!
The Calling
––––––––
As you grow older
And lose the sweet amazement of youth,
Your eyes get colder
And your mind disperses.
Memories are like branches in the wind
Only the sound of a bird
Cuts the silence of a rock.
If I had an angel face
And the worlds I whisper
Were the ones you dream of
Would you still be a blind wall?
If only I could show you
How to open your eyes!
Presence of Heart
––––––––
I wish I could fly
And follow the summer,
Like a free bird
With presence of heart.
––––––––
I wish I could sleep
All over the winter,
Like a big brown bear
With presence of heart.
––––––––
The warm sun will always melt
