A beauty in every line

We snatched a last few days from this weird year: at first a passage of engine-calm then a fine sail fast and free from Salcombe towards Dartmouth, just before the weather closed down.

It was pleasing to anchor for the last night somewhere we never had before – Scabbacombe Bay – for a sunset drink, and a last night rolling and listening for the grinding chain over the bow. Nice
