Dr. Percy Collett, a Medial Doctor, ministered almost 50 years to the physical and spiritual needs of the people in the Amazon River Basin of South America. His work among the Indian headhunters and poor river people is documented by acts of bravery and deprivation which rival that of Sister Theressa. Having spent his life teaching the heathen and doctoring their sick 'without once charging them a dime for a prescription,' a few years back he began to pray:

'Lord, if I've found favor in your sight, show me your glory.'

In 1982, a small group, including Dr. Collett and a young medical doctor, was in a period of 'fasting and intercession' when an angel of the Lord came to him and transported his 'soul' body to heaven. For 5.5 earth days, he talked with God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, Elijah, Elisha, Abraham, Moses, Paul, and others. He viewed the mansions of the Saints and toured the buildings NOW under construction.

He was taken to 'his' mansion 700 miles up from the city's foundation. He saw the mansions of and talked with great soul winners, including Kathryn Kuhlman, Amy McPherson, and Smith Wigglesworth. The size and functions of musical instruments were revealed as he traveled and was given the number of statute miles around its circumference. He toured each level of heaven and viewed its different departments and activities.

Jesus talked with him about events soon to occur on earth—the battle of Ezekiel 38, the rapture, and Armageddon. He was sent back to earth with instructions to take a leave of absence from the mission field and declare what he had seen and heard. (The Montgomery Advertiser, 11 Aug 1984, p.3)

Among those who have visited Heaven, none were as extensive in one visit as Dr. Percy Collett's. Not only that, but he was also shown a great deal regarding how prophecies will be fulfilled, and that from a man who had never studied the Book of Revelation.

Heavenly Lecture

From an Australian newspaper The Investigator dated July 1989:

In April huge audiences in Australia heard American evangelist Dr. Percy Collett (pronounced Collay) describe a Jesus-guided tour of Heaven that he took in 1981. Collett and 250 Indians and missionaries at Boavista Mission in N.W. Brazil allegedly prayed for eight days to God to show them Heaven. On the 9th day everyone saw angels in the sky and on the 10th they were all 'struck down by the glory of God.' Then: 'My soul came out of my body. Your soul is God's intelligence in you.'

An eight-foot-tall angel with a flaming sword took Percy's soul on a six-hour journey through space: 'to a great planet called Heaven. It's so big, so round, so beautiful. There was fire all around it. It didn't need a sun because God supplied everything.' 'It's over two trillion miles away. We passed two light years in one hour.'

Percy's body, unconscious six days, stayed in Brazil. Percy's public appearance in Adelaide was at the Assemblies of God, Beulah Centre in Grote Street on April 26. Present were over 200 people including two skeptics. The lecture was spiced with stories of miraculous healings, conversions, and previous encounters with angels. Most interesting were Percy's personal comments:

Percy stated he was born in England, met his first angel after his mother died when he was five, met the same angel again in 1917, was baptized 'in tongues' in 1921, studied medicine on the Kaiser's former yacht in Sydney Harbour 1924-1927, spent four years in military school, served in the US Navy, became a medical missionary in Brazil in 1933, served as a US army doctor in World War 2, and has been married for 60 years.
