Paradox of struggles

Truth opened up my  eyes

To the harsh reality of life

For  years I was blind

About the Oblivion trying to hide

Wanted to put me on the right path.

Those were just lies in disguise.

As they make reckless decisions

Only fortuitous for them

Never caring about others' struggles

Their game plan was for them to win

As I observe,  their mediocrity becomes more vivid.

As life goes on, the pain extends

Although wishing for the promising land

I seek for it to end

If the young are the future, why do you take it away

You’re causing so much pain

I think heartache is my best friend

Been like this since day one

Despite all the losses,  I stay strong.

It hurts, but I have to keep fighting until I’ve won.

Rise

My eye has been captured

By something unique in the skies

A land full of opportunities

Where my dreams lie.

I’m a bird with his wings snipped. 

As rotten luck took my freedom away

Depression had weighed me down

With my power to hope snicked.

With my pride, I never stopped.

I paved the way with my own two hands

While I kept looking at my sleeve for guidance

Till I reach the promised land.

As a soldier, you have to endure

So I always kept my head up

Until  I find a cure

With some uplifting words

I was encouraged

I kept on fighting and never got discouraged

Brokedown wall after wall

I  never faltered

Cause I stood tall

I’ll never lose hope like before

Since victory is ahead

Even if I stumble

I’ll get back and rise.

Because if I quit

My dreams will die.

Unstoppable Darkness

The darkness growing inside of me

Driving me insane

At this point, it’s futile to help me

It’s too late to be saved

Falling deep into the shadows

Filling my life with despair

The deeper I go, the light gets thinner

As it escapes the atmosphere

Losing my mind; waiting to be saved

Everlasting darkness is becoming more vivid

As the distant light fades away

Becoming more insipid.

Slight noise in these clouds of darkness

Nothing but a flatline

Death must be approaching

Or is there something wrong with my mind?

My thoughts are no longer clear.

As the mind keeps drawing a blank

It’s’s all a blur

Clear like the crystal blue waters

But  a rock has caused it to ripple

And the thought was erased from my slate

Is this from above

Predicting my end

Or a genesis soon to appear

Of this unstoppable darkness
