Unapologetically Me: A Journey Through an Open Mind
()
About this ebook
As human beings, different circumstances in our lives can leave us feeling as if there is no hope. I decided to write this book because I f I can touch one person to let them know there is someone out there that feels the same way and they are not alone, but at the end of the book I do let the readers know there is a higher power that get us through it all.
Sheila G. Drakeford

DEDICATION
This book is dedication to those who help edit the book. To a childhood friend who loved poetry as much as I. To my wonderful children and grandchildren who are the light of my life.
THE WRITER
When I write,
I write from my soul.
I search not for big words to speak
the story my heart holds.
I don’t sit and think
about what I will say.
I go to the table
and let my heart have its way.
My words may be simple, confusing, or minute,
but who am I to argue with the power of pursuit?
I choose not my words,
but my words choose me.
They need someone to speak them,
I just do the deed.
Depressing or sad whatever it may be
these words
