She loves her two pets: a black cat, Ansem and a German Shepherd, Axel -both named after characters from her favorite video game series.

      To the reader,

      I am honored you are reading this collection, my first book of poetry, but before you fully dive in I thought it appropriate to discuss a few details -a little about the process of writing these poems, and some acknowledgments.

      When writing, I generally do not write specifically on a topic (unless doing a writing exercise). I free-write constantly, filling notebook after notebook, but when I found that many of
