Andy and Tennyson crept down the dark hallway. Andy, holding Jayce’s science-project, a beefsteak tomato launcher, went first. Tennyson bounced behind him. Strapped onto the raptor’s back was a radar device, which Tennyson used to scan the area. On the dinosaur’s head sat a fake night vision headset which Andy took from an action ficgure.
Anything yet, buddy?
Andy asked, holding the tomato launcher, which Jayce called the BSL-01, which stood for Beefsteak Launcher – Version 01.
The raptor growled, indicating a no
. Since the radar device was strapped to his back, Tennyson could not see the screen. However, the device would beep if anything popped up within fifty feet of their position.
It’s quiet,
Andy remarked. A little too quiet for me. Where do you think we should go next?
Tennyson bounced ahead, arriving at an old door to the side of the hallway. With a nudge, the raptor jumped toward the knob, tapping it with his tiger-striped snout. As the dinosaur landed, he gave another loud growl.
In here buddy?
Andy asked, pointing to the door. Okay, I’m gonna open it.
Tennyson growled and hopped back. Andy grabbed the handle and flung open the door open, quickly aiming his BSL-01 into the opening. A dark staircase awaited them, heading up into an even darker and more mysterious room.
Andy to base, over,
Andy said into his mouthpiece that was mounted on his head. Agent Tennyson thinks we should move into this dark staircase. He thinks the objective might be at the top, over.
"Very good, Agent Andy, came a female voice on the other end.
Mission Control says you both are good to proceed up the stairs. And remember, a good agent is ready for anything! Use extreme caution as you go up there."
Roger that,
Andy said into his mouthpiece. I’ll report what I find. But if tomatoes start flying, please send backup.
"Roger, replied the girl’s voice.
Over and out."
Okay, Agent Tennyson,
Andy said, pointing up the creepy staircase. Let’s go and find out what’s up those stairs. And remember – watch your back up there.
Tennyson returned with a growl as he began to hop up the stairs after Andy.
Clicking on a flashlight that was taped to the front of the beefsteak tomato launcher, Andy carefully walked up the stairs to the dark room above. When they arrived at the top of the stairs, a room full of crates and storage cabinets awaited. At the end of the room was an office chair, where a single figure awaited. Tennyson’s radar bleeped, meaning that the machine picked up the figure in the chair.
Andy raised the BSL-01, aiming the flashlight at the dark figure that was facing away from them, looking out the window.
Agent Tennyson,
Andy whispered. Target acquired. Okay, this is the Highland Falls Secret Service. Reveal yourself!
The figure spun around in the chair. It was a boy, wearing a gray suit and petting a small white dog on his lap. Along his one eye, a scar ran down to his cheek.
Agent Andy and Agent Tennyson,
replied the villain. I should’ve known the Highland Falls Secret Service would’ve sent you to do their dirty work!
Big Meanie,
Andy replied. "You are under arrest. Please
