Chapter 1
There was nothing but dead silence in the Williamson house until Shayna hit her knee on the end table at the end of the hall.
Bang!
As she whimpers and covers her mouth so as not to let out the scream she is holding in, she hears her mother yell out, Who’s that?
Mustering up all the strength she could, she says softly, It’s just me, Ma.
Oh, alright. What are you doing?
her mother says warily.
I’m sorry Ma, I’m heading out. I have a doctor’s appointment this morning. Then I’ll be heading into work to cover for Trish.
Shayna freezes, and rolls her eyes up, waiting to see if she realizes what time it is.
Well, let me know how your appointment goes, and be careful at work.
Shayna lets out a breath and says, Okay Ma, I will. Go back to sleep and I’ll see you later. Love you.
Love you too.
Shayna then gestures to her company to hurry up and whispers, C’mon we have to go. NOW!
She grabs her friend’s arm and pulls him towards the door.
He pulls away and quietly says, Girl, I’m coming, don’t pull on me?
Seriously, now is not the time, dude.
He stops in mid-walk and blurts out, I was just—
You were what? Just what? Boy, you don’t even know, so c’mon, and let’s go before she gets up and I have to explain why I have a guy sneaking out of the house.
As Shayna turns the doorknob and slowly opens the door, she hears the sucking of teeth and mumbling but doesn’t care to even turn around.
When they both get out of the house, Shayna closes the door behind her ever so slowly and locks it. Right as she turns around, she feels lips pressed against hers. She steps back and pushes him away and says, Dude, I have an appointment to get to and you got to get to wherever you’re going. We don’t have time for this.
Alright, just wanted a kiss before I left. So, can I call you later? Hello? Well, do you mind if I call you?
Shay stares at him for a minute, as she is thinking about it, and says, I’m going to be tired from work, so you can but I don’t know if I’ll answer.
After that, they both began walking towards their cars, with Shayna giving a quick flick of a wave as she got into hers and him throwing up his pointer finger and middle finger, gesturing later, as he got into his.
Shayna drove down Broad Street listening to Could’ve Been
by H.E.R. contemplating what she was going to do with this guy. As she thought about him and last night, she began smiling and thought about how this wasn’t like her but that she needed it and appreciated it. In an instant, the smile quickly turned to a feeling of confusion because of him. She looked at herself in the rearview mirror and said, GOD, what did I do?
as the song, Blame It on The Alcohol
came to mind. Hey, at the end of the day, it was what it was and is what it will be. No need to keep thinking about him right now, just need to focus on getting through the day and hope my appointment doesn’t take forever.
Before she knew it, Shayna was pulling up to the doctor’s office. As she pulled into the parking lot of the clinic, Shayna starts praying, Please let there be a parking space, please let there be a parking space, please, yes! Got one and close to the door too. Thank you, Jesus.
After parking, she goes in and walks up to the check-in desk. Feeling a little bit anxious she says, Hi, I’m checking in for Dr. Samuels. My name is Shayna Williamson. My appointment is at 10:30 a.m.
Please sign in and have a seat and someone will call you as soon as they’re ready.
She barely had time to sit down, when her name was called. Shayna Williamson.
Yes, right here,
she says as she turns and grabs her purse from the adjacent chair.
So how are you today?
the Certified Nursing Assistant asked while walking her to her examination room.
I’m great actually. How ‘bout you?
I’m good, thanks for asking.
The CNA directs Shayna into a room, closes the door, and takes a seat. As the CNA signs onto the medical computer, she asks Shayna what she’s here for today. Well, I am due for a routine checkup but I’ve been tired more than usual and my body has been sore lately.
What do you do for work?
I’m a bartender over at Feel the Heat bar on Stone Street. Ever been?
No. So you said you were feeling excessively tired, what type of hours do you keep at work?
she asks as she types it into her medical chart online.
I work 12 p.m. to 3 a.m. every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday but lately I’ve been picking up extra shifts to help cover for the other bartender.
Wow, ok. So, is there anything else you would like me to jot down for the doctor?
As Shay mulls it over in her head, she says, Not that I can think of at the moment.
As the CNA turns and pulls a gown out from the cabinet behind her, she tells Shay to take off her clothes, put the gown on and have a seat on the table.
Do you need a sheet or blanket?
No, thank you.
As the CNA turns to walk out the door, she places Shayna’s medical chart on the door and says, Okay then, the doctor will be in shortly.
While waiting for the doctor to arrive, all Shay could think about was her boo. Just the thought of him was making her nipples hard in the hospital gown (or it could be the cold air). He is so sexy and has those lips. Ah man, and how soft they are. I don’t know how he gets them to be so soft, but I’m not complaining. On the other hand, there was just something so calming about him. When we are around each other, I can breathe. No matter how bad my day is, he knows exactly what to say, do and sometimes, not say; that just makes everything alright. Right as Shay lets out a moan, she hears a knock on the door.
Shayna, are you ready?
the doctor asks from the other side of the door.
Yes, come in.
Hey, how have you been doing?
I’m doing fine.
I see you are here for your checkup, and the notes say you’ve been extra tired lately?
Just a little, but I think it's from overexerting myself at work.
Well, I would start with cutting down on the number of shifts you work.
That’s kind of hard for me to do because my mind is so focused on getting money to go back to college, then open my own bar.
The doctor turns to look at Shayna and says, School won’t even be a factor if you’re not healthy enough to attend.
You’re right. I will do my best to try and slow down.
Shayna, I admire your determination but you still have to think about your health. If you’re not healthy, you won’t even be able to attend school, never mind open a business. So please try and slow down a bit.
So, let’s continue with your exam, so we can get you on your way. Once we’re done with this, I would like to get some bloodwork done to know exactly what it is. So, until the test results come back, just take it easy and for the soreness, take two Tylenol every six hours as needed. If you need any medications, I’ll call them into your pharmacy.
Okay, so let’s get started.
As Shayna lay back on the table, feet up in the stir ups, legs apart she could feel the doctor inserting the cold hard speculum into her vagina. With it being so cold, she couldn’t help but cringe and tighten up as it went in. The only thing she could do was focus on the ceiling and think about Jaymes. How she can’t wait to feel his big, thick—or hoping it is—dick sliding in her wet pussy, making her eyes roll back into her head and…Whew! She can’t believe she found someone like him. He is not like anyone in the drama stories told by the patrons at the bar or like him either. Yet, even though she did what she did, it’s technically not cheating because it’s only been a few months that Jaymes and she have been talking. She is feeling Jaymes though, never thought she’d meet anyone that she would be feeling this much, so soon, but here
