    Dedication

I dedicate this book firstly to the one who teaches us all things, the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, under whose guidance, instruction and inspiration I wrote this book. It is also dedicated to my mentor and earthly teacher, the greatest Prophet who walked this earth in my own time, Prophet TB Joshua, who transitioned into glory on June 5, of this year 2021. It was through his mentorship that I began to receive the grace for insight into spiritual matters. His teachings, his guidance, his practical acts of love opened my eyes to a whole new dimension of service to God, through the acts of Faith, Love & Charity. Through his teaching I began to realize how desperately I needed God, how often I needed to pray, in his words; you need God to sit, you need God to stand, in anything you do, consult God. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may light perpetual shine on him.

    Acknowledgements

I want to recognize my darling husband and prayer partner, Lancelot, for his love and support through which I derived the much needed energy to complete this book. To my loving daughter Lucia, she happens to be the source of my strength in good times and difficult times. She has seen me at my lowest and my highest, we have often held hands to pray, and she is one of the reasons I communicate with God so much.

To all who will read this book, I pray you receive grace to remain in God’s presence and that you are inspired to pray without ceasing. May your prayer life be fired up so much that you receive unhindered access to the secret place of the Most High.

To God be the glory, My God remains the greatest.

Daniel 2:22 (NKJV) He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.

    Overview

Have you ever felt the need to pray? Have you ever been so desperate to talk to God about a given situation? Have you had a burning desire to change a situation and couldn’t do it on your own? My Christian journey dates as far back as 1982 at age 7, when I was baptized and confirmed as a Roman Catholic. I went to church religiously but never once prayed at home until 1990 when the civil war broke out in my Country Liberia. My first encounter with prayers as a Christian outside church was when I was displaced with my Aunt and her family in Kakata, Margibi County in 1990. Upon returning home, I quickly continued the practice of praying by introducing it to my Mother and Siblings. Sooner or later, I wouldn’t continue to pray, because as the Bible says Iron Sharpens Iron, there was no one there to inspire me and I wasn’t yet grounded in the things of the Spirit. In 1993, while completing the senior high school, I lost my father and conditions compelled me to move in with a classmate. This classmate, who is a sister till today, introduced me to a different level of prayer. We fasted, we prayed at midnight, and this time we were not just repeating words, but we prayed about the problems we had, this was new insight.

As the years went by and I grew into adult hood, I encountered so many difficulties and setbacks that I couldn’t figure my life out. I couldn’t afford a place
