CHAPTER ONE
HOW TO START A BUSINESS
A small business is an amazing way to serve and leave an impact on the world you live in.
– Nicole Snow (CEO of Darn Good Yarn).
Converse with any entrepreneur, and you will hear different advice across the business world. But the truth is that starting a business is easy and straightforward. Do not be discouraged. A thought cannot become a business without exertion.
If you are willing to put in a little effort to build a business, the payoff will gradually show. To get started you are going to want to know the right steps to take.

Brand yourself and advertise.
Branding is one of the most significant parts of any business, large or small. An effective brand strategy gives you a major edge in progressively competitive markets. But what exactly does branding
mean? How can it influence a private venture like yours?
Simply put, your brand is your promise to your customer. It tells them what they can expect from your products and services, and it differentiates your offerings from your competitors’. Your brand is your image, and it comes from what
