    CARAMEL PEAR TURNOVERS

    Prep: 30 Minutes | Cooking Time: 20 Minutes | Makes:  4 Servings 

    Ingredients


    Filling Ingredients

    3 cups of Granny Smith apples, peeled and cubed 

    4 tablespoons unsalted butter

    1/3 cup dark brown sugar

    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

    ½ teaspoon lemon juice

    ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

    ⅙ teaspoon of nutmeg

    2 teaspoons of cocoa powder

    Pinch of salt


    Ingredients for Turnovers

    2 x (17-ounce pack) readymade puff pastry, thawed 

    2 small eggs

    1-2 tablespoons water

    Turbinado sugar, for sprinkling 

    Directions

    Take a medium-size cooking pan and add all the filling ingredients.

    Cook the filling ingredients for about 8-10 minutes, stirring gently.

    Transfer the cooked mixture to a separate plate and place it in the refrigerator for cooling.

    Let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

    Next, whisk the eggs in the water, then put the puff pastry sheet on a flat cutting board.

    Cut into 4 equal squares (4 turnovers) and then add a tablespoon full of the refrigerated mixture to each square.

    Brush the edges of each with egg wash.

    Fold the pastry over the filling to form the turnovers and seal the edges.

    Refrigerate for a few hours.

    Line the air fryer basket with buttered/oiled greaseproof paper and add the pastries.

    Place the air fryer basket in the 4th position inside the Breville Air Fryer Oven.

    Turn the Select/Confirm dial to Air Fry mode.

    Turn the time dial to 20 minutes 

    Turn the temperature dial to 350 degrees F.

    Close the door and let them cook.

    Once done, sprinkle with sugar, serve, and enjoy!

    CHEESE AND HAM SANDWICHES

    Prep: 15 Minutes | Cooking Time: 8 Minutes | Makes: 2 Servings 

    Ingredients


    Béchamel Ingredients

    1-1/3 tablespoons unsalted butter

    1-1/4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

    1-1/4 cup whole milk

    Pinch of salt 

    Pinch of grated nutmeg

    Assembly Ingredients

    3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

    4-6 slices sandwich bread, white

    4 teaspoons of Dijon mustard to taste

    4-6 slices of ham 

    2-4 slices Gruyere cheese 


    Directions

    Preheat the Breville Air Fryer Oven for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F.

    The first step is to prepare the sauce; take a small saucepan and gently melt the butter.

    Add the flour to the butter and cook for 1 minute, stirring continually. Do not overheat.

    Once blended to a smooth paste, add milk slowly and gradually, stirring continuously.

    Cook for 1 more minute, and then reduce heat.

    The sauce will be thick till now.

    Season it with salt and nutmeg.

    Reduce heat to very low and start preparing sandwiches.

    Butter the sides of two slices of bread and spread Dijon mustard on the other two slices.

    Arrange the with cheese, ham, and sauce on the slices with mustard.

    Close the sandwiches by putting the buttered-side slices facing upwards.

    Line the Breville Air Fryer Oven basket with parchment paper, place the sandwiches inside and add to the air fryer.

    Close the door.

    Turn the Select/Confirm dial to Air Fry mode.

    Turn the time dial to 8 minutes.

    Turn the temperature dial to 400 degrees F.

    Once done, serve with a topping of additional sauce and enjoy!

    SNACK TIME CHURLS

    Prep: 15 Minutes | Cooking Time: 20 Minutes | Makes: 2 Servings 

    Ingredients

    1 cup water

    2 teaspoons butter

    2 teaspoons sugar

    ¼ tablespoons vanilla

    Pinch of kosher salt

    1 large cup all-purpose flour

    1 large egg


    Ingredients for coating 

    ¼ cup butter, melted

    1/3 cup sugar

    1/3 teaspoon cinnamon, ground

    Directions

    Mix the first five ingredients in a saucepan and bring them to a boil.

    Add the flour slowly and mix in well.

    Once the dough is formed transfer it to a mixer fitted with paddles.

    Mix on medium speed for 1 minute and add one egg at a time.

    Once the eggs are well-mixed in, increase mixer speed and mix for 2 minutes.

    Let mixture sit for 20 minutes.

    Meanwhile, preheat the Breville Air Fryer Oven at 350 F for 5 minutes.

    Transfer the prepared dough to a piping bag fitted with a medium to large star-shaped pastry nozzle.

    Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and pipe a few inches of the dough onto the paper.

    Place the rack in the 4th position of the Breville Air Fryer Oven.

    Turn the Select/Confirm dial to Air Fry mode.

    Turn the time dial to 20 minutes. 

    Turn the temperature dial to 350 degrees F.

    While the churls are cooking, make the coating: melt the butter in a bowl.

    Place melted butter in a medium-sized bowl, then combine the sugar and cinnamon in a separate medium-sized bowl.

    When ready, toss the cooked churls first in the melted butter, then in the sugar/cinnamon mixture.

    Serve and enjoy!

    YUMMY AND EASY CHICKEN STRIPS

    Prep: 20 Minutes | Cooking Time: 8 Minutes | Makes: 2 Servings 

    Ingredients

    6 chicken breasts, cut into strips

    Salt, to taste

    Ingredients for the Spice Mix

    4 teaspoons paprika

    2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper

    2 teaspoons garlic powder

    2 teaspoons onion powder

    4 teaspoons ground mustard

    2 teaspoons dried basil

    2 teaspoons dried thyme

    1/6 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Ingredients For Breading

    1-1/3 cups Panko breadcrumbs, divided

    Salt, to taste

    1 teaspoon avocado oil

    ½ cup almond flour 

    2 large eggs


     Directions


    Preheat the Breville Air Fryer Oven at 425 degrees F for 5 minutes.

    Sprinkle chicken strips with salt and refrigerate for a few hours.

    Meanwhile, combine all the spices in a bowl.

    Take a separate bowl and mix almond flour and salt with 1/3 cup Panko breadcrumbs.

    Blend remaining breadcrumbs and add avocado oil.

    Beat the eggs and mix with 1 tablespoon water in a shallow dish.

    Toss chicken strips first in the almond flour/breadcrumb mixture, then in the egg mixture, then in the bread-crumb/ avocado oil mixture.

    Arrange chicken strips on the air fry rack, leaving space between each piece.

    Place the rack into the 4th position of the air fryer.

    Turn the Select/Confirm dial to Air Fry mode.

    Turn the time dial to 8 minutes 

    Turn the temperature dial to 425 degrees F.

    Once it’s done, serve and enjoy!

    CHICKEN SATAY WITH PEANUT SAUCE

    Prep: 25Minutes | Cooking Time: 20Minutes | Makes: 2 Servings 

    Ingredients


    Ingredients for Marinade

    4 tablespoons vegetable oil

    3 stalks lemongrass, white parts only, thinly sliced

    4 cloves garlic

    3 medium shallots, thinly sliced

    3 teaspoons ground turmeric

    2 teaspoons ground coriander

    2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

    4 tablespoons sugar

    2 teaspoons kosher salt


    Ingredients for skewers

    1-½ pounds chicken thighs, boneless, skinless

    Bamboo skewers, as needed 

    To serve, Peanut sauce, as needed

    Directions


    Preheat the Breville Air Fryer Oven to 425 degrees F for 5 minutes.

    Combine marinade ingredients in a food processor and blend.

    Cut the thighs into 3-inch strips. 

    Add to a bowl and cover with the marinade.

    Marinate for 5 hours in the refrigerator.

    Remove chicken from marinade and thread the pieces onto skewers. 

    Put the broiling rack in the roasting pan and arrange the chicken skewers on top.

    Place it in the 4th position inside the air fryer.

    Close the door.

    Turn the time dial to 20 minutes.

    Turn the temperature dial to 425 degrees F.

    Batch cook skewers as necessary.

    Serve immediately with peanut sauce and enjoy!

    PORK FILLED SPRING ROLLS WITH ORANGE DIPPING SAUCE

    Prep: 20 Minutes | Cooking Time: 13 Minutes | Makes: 4 Servings 

    Ingredients for Filling

    2 tablespoons grapeseed oil, divided

    1 pound ground pork

    4 cloves garlic, minced

    2-inch piece fresh ginger, grated

    4 ounces green cabbage, shredded

    1 large carrot, shredded

    1 green onion, shredded

    2 tablespoons soy sauce

    1 tablespoon oyster sauce

    Ingredients for the Dipping Sauce 

    1/3 cup orange marmalade

    2 tablespoons white vinegar

    1 teaspoon soy sauce

    1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce, to taste

    For making the spring rolls

    10-12 spring roll wrappers 

    3 tablespoons water

    2 tablespoons cornstarch

    oil spray for misting 


    Directions

    Heat some grapeseed oil in a skillet, add the pork and let it cook until brown.

    Transfer the pork to a bowl and add more oil to the pan.

    Cook ginger and garlic until aroma comes.

    Then add the vegetables.

    Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Next add pork, soy sauce, and oyster sauce and stir well. 

    Set mixture aside.

    Next, make the dipping sauce by combining all the ingredients in a small bowl and whisking well together.

    Mix the water and cornstarch in a separate bowl.

    For each roll, flatten a spring roll wrapper on a clean board and add 2 tablespoons of filling evenly across the wrapper. Fold up the bottom corner to seal.

    Fold over the two side corners to make a packet. 

    Brush with the cornstarch mixture to seal the edges.

    Repeat until all rolls are prepared.

    Add the spring rolls to a baking pan.

    Brush the outsides of the spring rolls with oil.

    Place the baking pan in the 4th position inside the air fryer.

    Turn the time dial to 13 minutes.

    Turn the temperature dial to 450 degrees F.

    Cook until golden.

    Serve immediately with dipping sauce and enjoy!

    LOADED POTATO BITES

    Prep: 15 Minutes | Cooking Time: 20 Minutes | Makes: 4 Servings 

    Ingredients


    1 pound of potatoes 

    1/3 cup sour cream + ¼ cup for dipping

    2 eggs

    2 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese

    6 slices bacon, cooked and finely chopped

    4 tablespoons chopped chives

    Salt and black pepper, to taste


    Ingredients for Breading 

    2 eggs

    2 tablespoons water

    1-½ cup fresh breadcrumbs 


    Directions


    Take a medium size steamer basket, place it in a large pot, and add water to just below the bottom of the basket.

    Bring the water to a boil.

    Steam potatoes in it for 40 minutes.

    Take out the potatoes and peel.

    Mash the potatoes in a large bowl, along with 1 beaten eggs, bacon, sour cream, salt, chives, cheese, and pepper.

    Then adjust seasoning.

    Divide the mixture into 20-30 even portions (approximately 1 tablespoon in size).

    Roll mixture into balls.

    Beat an egg with some water in a bowl. 

    Add breadcrumbs to a separate medium-sized bowl.

    Roll the balls in the egg wash, then dredge them in breadcrumbs.

    Repeat for all the balls.

    Take a Breville Air Fryer Oven basket and line it with parchment paper.

    Arrange the balls in a single layer in the basket.

    Add the basket to the Breville Air Fryer Oven the 4th position.

    Turn the Select/Confirm dial to Air Fry mode.

    Turn the time dial to 20 minutes. 

    Turn the temperature dial to 375 degrees F.

    Once done, serve hot with sour cream dip and enjoy!

    ZUCCHINI FRIES WITH GREEK YOGURT DIP

    Prep: 25 Minutes | Cooking Time: 40-50 Minutes | Makes: 2 Servings 

    Ingredients


    12 ounces of medium zucchini, cut into wedges 

    Kosher salt, pinch.

    1.5 cups Panko breadcrumbs

    1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (1 ounce/25 grams)

    2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

    Pinch cayenne pepper

    1/3 cup all-purpose flour

    3 egg whites

    Ingredients for the Dip

    1 .5 cups Greek yogurt

    2 cloves of garlic, minced

    2 tablespoons chives, minced 

    2 tablespoons Italian parsley, chopped

    ½ tablespoon lemon juice

    Salt and black pepper, to taste

    Directions

    Mix all the dipping ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

    Add salt to zucchinis and let them sit for a few hours.

    Then drain off the salt water and rinse with fresh water.

    Squeeze out excess water.

    Set the zucchini on a paper towel to absorb any remaining water.

    In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, cayenne, and salt to taste.

    Mix the ingredients until well combined. 

    Transfer the breadcrumb mixture to a medium-size shallow dish.

    Sift the flour into a separate dish.

    Whisk the egg whites to a stiff peak in a separate dish.

    Next, toss the zucchini pieces first in the flour, then in then egg whites.

    Then dredge the zucchini in the breadcrumb mixture.

    Repeat for all pieces.

    Arrange zucchini in an air fryer basket, leaving space in-between each piece.

    Place the basket in the 4th position inside the air fryer.

    Turn the Select/Confirm dial to Air Fry mode.

    Turn the time dial to 12 minutes. 

    Turn the temperature dial to 425 degrees F.

    Once done, serve with prepared yogurt dip to enjoy!

    CHEESY QUICHE
