About this ebook
The power of strength and endurance is often something we neglect to truly acknowledge. We forget how much we really can do because we are so focused on the validity of others. The Pit Stop not only shares the personal of Kiarahswanna Williams and her journey through finding strength, but the many challenges she faced throughout her journey forward.
There is a lot to digest in this book, infertility, gender and sexuality, grief and more. You are encouraged to read and feel the emotional changes this story will take you through, but more importantly, accept your journey and how your Pit Stops will help shift you forward.

This book is dedicated to my biggest fan. My grandmother, the late Earnestine H. Bryant, who wanted to share many stories through writing but never had the chance. May she rest knowing that her legacy will be continued.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
I would like to first thank my amazing wife, Kyaria. Without your love and continued support, there is no way I would be the woman I am today. If my love for you could be weighed on a scale, the scale would definitely be broken.
To my daughters, Klair, Ziyah, and Zhane’, thank you for allowing me to be human, yet still loving me with your whole hearts. It is because of you that I go so hard daily to be a better version of myself today, than the day before.
To my best friends, Tenisia and Renetra, thank you for believing in all of my dreams and pushing me to bring them to reality.
To my mom, siblings, and family, thank you for allowing me to share my truth. Most of all, thank you all for making life easier with your love and support.
To Victoria and the Suga Family, thank you for becoming a part of the Pit Crew. Vicki, I can’t thank you enough for stepping in and offering love and guidance through the toughest time of my life. You help save me, and strengthen my relationship with God.
Lastly, this book would not exist without the expertise of the wonderful Writluxe Writing Firm crew. Thank you to the entire team for working so hard and encouraging me to get this worthy piece complete.
INTRODUCTION
When I think of a Pitstop, I think of a journey with a short stop between where you are from and where you are going. I can’t speak for everyone on how this truly represents their life’s progression. I just know what it means to me. This story is deeply rooted in everything I’ve always hoped to achieve, represent, and acknowledge, as it is my truth. Some parts of this story, this journey, seem harder than others, but that’s okay. Ultimately, many of us have become so adapted to a closed mouth that we don’t recognize the power of being verbal about real stuff. I have been that person, afraid to speak my truth because I felt no one wanted to hear it. Why are we like this? Why do we dim our lights for others?
As you read this book, I want you to grasp the message with an open mind. I want you to understand the power of being vocal and vow to make it your life’s mission from this moment forward. Don’t
