Molesting

About this ebook
“Molest” is not a concept, not a word, it is a living, breathing agony, a trauma, that eats the mind, the psyche, the past, present and future of a living being. Daily, momentarily, it gnaws on the the heart, the dreams of its victims. It eats the sleep. It erodes the mind. There’s no rest for the victim.
Also, is it possible we create a powerful illness of the mind - and body - as a way to escape the trauma of the past and the dread of the future? Is illness a distraction, or, a call for help? Can we alleviate the power of trauma by using a sickness of the mind, or the body, to distract from the painful memory of the past?
My mind often reflects back to the nightmare of molesting when I was a child. Will I ever wake up?
Within our own personal being is the Light to guide us, unique as we are, to Unconditional Love. We each seek to fulfill our life, awaken the true self, our Divine Self. That awakening is, ready, waiting, within us. Read: Psalm 42.1-5 KJV
The trauma of molesting destroys who we were meant to be. We’re forever a child trapped in that dark room, forever waiting for the dreaded touch, the sick smile, and the soft whisper of a person who opens the door to the nightmare of life.

MOLESTING - The living trauma
Molesting may be the greatest scourge in history. Perhaps on a parallel with war, molesting destroys, scars, warps and traumatizes people - children - in particular. It is pervasive and omni-present.
At this time in history, data on this scourge is largely ignored, buried alive in empty statistics. I wonder if that is because its poisonous prevalence is then mollified, indistinguishable from lesser social crimes.
Crimes, like rape and assault, are easier to understand because they’re usually committed against adults. But adults can make a report, they can say something, protest, tell on you. Children cannot speak out, from fear, fear of repercussion, lack of words, lack of comprehension and perhaps, confusion.
Statistics of assaults on adults are available. For most adults, assaults can be somewhat healed and put aside emotionally to some degree. And, assaults can be made public. You can shame offenders by humiliation to bring in an amount of recompense to assuage the pain.
But not children. No one believes you, the child. To encourage your silent cooperation, the adults say they’ll kill your puppy, take you away from Mommy forever, if you tell. This is our secret…
an adult whispers in your tiny little ear.
Then there are no witnesses. Children misunderstand…, they have wild imaginations…, they dreamed it…, would good old Uncle Charlie ever hurt little Susie? Dad’s best beer buddy?
So often as a child I would sit and wish I had a big eraser so I could erase my nightmares, my fears and my stepfather, from my life. Or, better yet, I longed for a pill that would put me to sleep - forever.
Disgust with one’s self can be a residue of molesting. Many children experience low self esteem to carry with them in life through storms and shadows. Common sense tells you, this burden will bore holes in their heart, mind and psyche.
Holes so big no amount of therapy or agape can fill. No pills can balance the pain and the trauma.
Was someone molested as a child? Is someone escaping that childhood trauma by hiding the child in child-hood? By disguising it as illness? Is illness a code for trauma as a child?
Is someone changing their gender to erase emotional scars and put on a new identity, one that is clean, fresh and has pride?
I believe the incidence of molesting is far greater than we may understand. But, because it’s buried in data, it’s covered over, discounted and denied. So, it lives, thrives in the very fabric of the home, the churches, schools, our souls.
Wherever there are children, there is probably molesting. It is largely unreported as it is heinous and unacceptable - Not in my home!
is the indignant reaction. Few people listen to the victim, or believe him. And, that in itself, is the worst crime.
MOLESTING - A present tense verb
Molest, molesting, to the person living in the nightmare, it’s a present tense word.
Just forget about it,
we’re told. It’s in the past,
we’re told. Turn it over to God,
we’re told. How callous! What we actually hear is, It doesn't bother me, so just let it go. I’m not interested. You have to forgive and forget.
God says you have to forgive. But you can’t. You have to. You can’t. Now, not only are you in darkness, lost and alone, but you are cursed by God because you can’t forgive.
God is mad at you. Christians say, But you have to forgive or get punished.
Then is the benign smile and pat on the head. Then
