      It was late December and town was congested with stressed people moving about in a swarm, trying to pick out presents for loved ones. However, what should have been a joyful task seemed to be a chore for everyone. Tempers were short and bursts of curse words flew from tired mouths.

      Scowled, angry faces were everywhere to be seen and the backdrop of flashing lights and cheerful music seemed quite the ironic contrast.
