It was an hour before lunch. Jimmy, a little bunny, was playing with his two older brothers.
Ek is regtig lus vir iets soet,
sê Jimmy skielik.
I really feel like eating something sweet,
said Jimmy suddenly.
Ons kan nie lekkers eet voor middagete nie,
sê die oudste boetie. Jy weet ons mag nie, Jimmy.
We can't eat candy before lunch,
said the oldest brother. You know we’re not allowed, Jimmy.
Ek hou van appels en druiwe,
sê die middelste boetie. Hulle is soet en smaaklik.
I like apples and grapes,
said the middle brother.
