Jimmy Rush

Jimmy Rush is a native of Albany, Georgia, and comes from a family of six: grandmother Carrie B, mother Lydia L, and three sisters: Shaleta, Carrie S, and Lydia S. He is the husband, friend, and lover to LeTasha Rush, and proud father of Shadalia and Jeriden. He has been a Christian for twenty years and accepted his call to ministry shortly after receiving his salvation. Jimmy's primary redemptive gifts are Giving, Faith, and Mercy. He's motivated to share the love of God with all who will hear it and by his life example. He seeks to nurture and develop those around him in the fear of the Lord and life of love that we are all called to walk in. Jimmy firmly believes that ministry must begin at home to wife and children. Further, he seeks to walk in submission to God first and then the shepherd whom God has placed him under. Jimmy desires to serve God through worship, prayer, teaching, and encouraging others. Jimmy is serving his twentieth year on active duty in the United States Army. His ministry gifts are teaching, preaching, and counseling. He has an associate degree in Business and bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice both from Troy State University and a master's degree in Divinity with a concentration in Chaplaincy from Liberty University. Jimmy's purpose is to remain a multifunctional, usable servant of God and to be the living breathing manifestation of God's Glory. He enjoys spending time with his family.
