                    It’s been such a very long time to be apart,

                    I know we each had our own differences,

                    when I think of friends lost it breaks my heart,

                    Time may heal the forgotten memories; yet,

                    always in back of my mind are friends we had,

                    when our thoughts were in sync; we can’t forget,

                    If we believe in never ending give and take,

                    a strong ever lasting love for one another,

                    why not continue for our friendships sake!

                    Some bonds of friendship can never be broken,

                    except by life’s departure; yet even at that, all

                    memories aren’t bad if kind words were spoken,

                    How can we go through life without a close friend,

                    one who will back you in choices right or wrong,

                    it’s how a true friend reacts untill the very end!

                    It’s a blessing to have many close friends indeed,

                    and be one in such a special and rare social group,

                    one true friend helping another in their time of need,
