    About the author

    Dedication

I dedicate this book to God, who knows all things, and who loves us with an everlasting love.

    Acknowledgments

I want to acknowledge my brother in Christ and my friend, Blake, whom I liken to Elijah, and whose prayers and insistent spirit resulted in me receiving the revelation of predestination and of the election of grace. I would not have the peace and rest I now enjoy in my relationship with God if it weren’t for him.

And a special acknowledgement to Pastor Robin Boisvert, who really laid it out for us while we were studying in the upper room at Covenant Life Church.

    Introduction

My goal in writing this book is to lay out and impart a clear Scriptural understanding of the election of grace, predestination, and the sovereignty of God. Now before you dismiss this book entirely and throw it out, I would ask you to read all that I have written, as my goal is to do this in a manner that is relatively brief, as well as very balanced, and that will result in you as the reader to be stirred up to deepen your relationship with God. If you do not have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, this book will provide launching points to get you started. If you do know Jesus, my desire is that this book will give you a deeper sense of rest in your relationship with God, and that the gifts will start flowing through a place of rest rather than striving. You will see how key scriptures fit together and how all things are held in balance.

Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 MEV).

There is a sense in which we as disciples of Jesus Christ, and as students of the Word, are responsible to rightly divide the word of truth. This means that there are divisions in the Word, and there are right moments to apply certain truths versus others. All things considered, the Word of God has much to say about every aspect of life.

This book is a result of much prayer and study, as well as much spiritual encounter and revelation. In this book I will lay out realities that the Lord has shown me regarding the topics mentioned in this introduction, and I will bring up several Scriptures that teach this, address many counterarguments and show what the Scriptures say to address
