    The Time Truck

    Coffee Stop off

        In nine parts

          Part IV:

          The Ball

    fiction

Chapter 1. At the yacht's club Ball, Charlie and Xavier continue debating dimensions and parallels

X: They  were delightful to dance with.

Charlie: An innocent age with their life in front of them, a weekend for

    Juliet and Marion to remember.

X: Will you though? Most likely be a glimpse for you on a multitude of events.

Charlie: They stand alone by themselves, and they fit together rather intricately, difficult to comprehend why there’s multiple choice.

X: Indeed, for me too, my time travel is only currently one dimension, so if there are multiple choices out there it certainly makes a mockery of history. We all take for granted fixed points of time dating it up as it happened. History is fascinating to me but now not so much as it for you guys on this planet who are rather addicted to it

Charlie: I never liked history much so I’m not missing any fixed theories about the past.

X: People on this planet also love to make associations with it so they can connect and find about  their roots, the ancestry they are associated to.

Charlie: The happenings of times gone by appear complex so defining what, where and when after people have gone down paths to recount history to me have resulted in sketchy interpretations as they are based on mostly grey areas recorded by a few back then who obviously put their own slant on it .

X: Oh yes, indeed from whose points of view especially with your various religious works

Charlie: There are certainly a number of scared texts and I've only been introduced to one

X: Film makers are well aware of people's fascinations with the past so its a roller coaster for the imaginations for movie directors to re-create them.  I find the recounts of  Hannibal and the Vikings on this world intriguing, though crossing them in alternative dimensions somewhat hazardous.

Charlie:  The odd magnificent crafts and artefacts that have lasted according to carbon dating giving us all clues to different lives that have now ceased.

X: Detailed records are missing naturally as your internet has only just arrived though I would think giving the age of this planet that more sophisticated races were around as the human race is currently a mere blimp in this planet's history.'

Charlie: Our current race is most likely in a world which is only part of the main universe as other universes, multi verses, twist, break off and go off in tangents which later merge and meet up again before they spiral off to a set of new happenings and events and discarded artefacts, relics, objects and constructions are common to the various existences, the pyramids and various rings of stones being an example.

X: To me everything is moving in parallels and we're encountering them as we continue our varied paths in our existences.

Charlie: I'd think of them as different dimensions as opposed to parallel, its an easy cop out referring to them as parallels for persons surrounding one change and oneself is displaced into a different era with just the surroundings blending and other solid objects such as buildings and cars.

The items we relish and adore as in music and art definitely does come from different dimensions for to me we're nowhere near artistically endowed enough at present but with technology very creative

X: I see your point and as people relish the past, whose past though is debatable for there are many museums and art galleries, the more fortunate who are living today having collections of their own. So you reckon it's dimension hopping and what is currently happening along side us is just one version of our existence.

Charlie: Then there's merging thereafter more splitting again so pieces splinter off to new tangents as indeed atoms split.

X: Hence multiples, so like the universe an infinite number to behold or in better to
